hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 05:18 (twenty-one years ago)

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 05:21 (twenty-one years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 05:23 (twenty-one years ago)

i had one at a motorway service station once when i was hitching from leeds to london to see some band or other

i think it will have been at Trowell, on the M1

i learned a lesson that day. dont but anything with the word Ginsters on the packet. everything you heard about british food and more in one bite size salmonella friendly atlantic temperatured ball of dispair

charltonlido (gareth), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 06:33 (twenty-one years ago)

i mistrust meat wrapped food.
also gareth, yes. ginsters.

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 13:39 (twenty-one years ago)

it is a point of pride with me that no matter how desperately hungry i've been, i've never succumbed to ginster's.

lauren (laurenp), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 13:43 (twenty-one years ago)

i didnt know! i was tactically naive

charltonlido (gareth), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 13:51 (twenty-one years ago)

you've learned from your pain, i'm sure.

lauren (laurenp), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 13:58 (twenty-one years ago)

then again, i'm no one to talk about nasty british food. i'm currently eating a jacket potato with coleslaw.

lauren (laurenp), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 14:02 (twenty-one years ago)

They're bad. but good.

I ate one at my friend Ian's house and it made me feel bad but he was Scottish. He said " we Scots have strong stomachs". Then we listened to Mudhoney.

"smells a bit like gas"

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 20:42 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't really eat things like ginster's. I'm partial to the odd sausage roll or shepherd's pie.

Great, Brave, True, Strong...adam levine (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 20:46 (twenty-one years ago)

But really...I was raised by jews! We are about as likely to eat these things as we are to keep beer in our fridge!

Great, Brave, True, Strong...adam levine (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 20:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Replace "scotch eggs, sausage rolls, and shepherd's pie" with bagels, gefilte fish, hamantashen, cinamon balls, vienna sausages...

Great, Brave, True, Strong...adam levine (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 20:50 (twenty-one years ago)

macaroons

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 21:03 (twenty-one years ago)

gareth and lauren speak the truth here, ian. heed their wise words. do not be tactically naive.
