Well, let me see.... The first 2 episodes of Season 2 are fantastic, as good as anything in Season #1. In fact, Episode #9 is probably my favorite outside of the pilot, Lynch at his best.

But yes, shortly thereafter it goes downhill fast: Harold Smith, the whole disposing of Josie via her "cousin", Dick Tremayne, Norma's mother and her new boyfriend (he just died, i forgot his name), James and Evelyn the MILF, Heather Graham, Billy Zane, all that crap.

Basically any episode that Lynch doesn't direct in Season 2 is probably not worth too much of your time, but there are some moments.
