they are cute in the way that bats are cute.

they are not very cute animals.
but sometimes they are kinda nice. in high school, the video teacher Mel had a black pug she would bring in sometimes. he came on the camping trip and he visited for parties. he peed on the floor once.

black pugs are kinda cute in an ugly way. the land lords at my old house had one named kermit many years ago. he was really sweet, actually.
