Good People,
Here are some good upcoming shows that you should know about. First, this weekend my good friends THE WEIRD WEEDS will be in town from Austin, Texas. This is their first time ever playing in New York City, which is exciting. It’s also exciting because their debut CD, Hold Me, is one of my favorite things I’ve heard all year. Seriously, they’re that good. They’re so good I’m even helping to publicize their shows even though I had nothing to do with booking them. Here’s the details:

so on saturday i am hanging out with c*****, a girl i know from college. for a while after college we both lived in chicago briefly, but i only saw her once and for some reason decided i shouldn't call her then. she moved away. now she lives in brooklyn, i live in brooklyn. i went to her recent art opening (she's a grad student now) and she came to my derby party, briefly (tho she was sick). i missed her birthday thing last week but she says she was sick then anyways (and i was at ddb's girlfriend's birthday party with the manic depressive chick who went crazy and decided that she didn't "feel the proverbial 'spark'" with me).

so do you guys think this is a date? i'm not really sure. don't really care either, but interested to see what happens.
