My new Croatian friend has just informed me that Kevin Costner means "your mother's chiropractor" in Croatian.

not as incredible as yours, I admit

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 26 July 2005 00:12 (twenty years ago)

Apparently it's something like Keva = mother, so Kevin = mother's or your mother's, and cost = bone, so costner is like the guy that cracks the bones, which is what they call the chiropractor.

I believe "ben" is more technical, like saying "feces," if that makes your friend feel any better. A better way to say shit would be "kuso."

Ben can also mean "convenience."

Laura H. (laurah), Tuesday, 26 July 2005 03:06 (twenty years ago)

Makes sense, since feces are rather convenient.

Hurting (Hurting), Tuesday, 26 July 2005 03:07 (twenty years ago)
