yeah, i did the turning 30 thing earlier this month.

eh.

i think i freaked out more about it many months ago so much so that when it actually happened it was a total nonevent.

i've been having a "what the hell am i doing with my life" crisis for about 10 years anyway. turning 30 was just more of the same.

40-something and 50-something friends are cool. gives me hope.

anyway away from my choices in cuisine, here's the deal: i'm not going on tour with lyr!Cs bj0rn because apparently their manager can't get off his ass to call me and their booking agent who strung me along thinking i'd have the deal can't get off his ass (hi d00d! he prolly lurx noize bored but fuck it) to figure out why or be honest with me so i told them just to fuck off in a polite way anyway. i mean it's 2 weeks to your fucking tour, i'd need at least 10 days to get my passport renewed not to mention be able to tell my landlord i can renew the lease (which ends 0ct. 1st) because going on tour would mean i could actually PAY the fucking rent because i'd be making money, get it fucking together.

i don't fucking understand why i'm the most broke-ass motherfucker in this town who can't get a job to save my goddamn worthless life, and yet i see dudes who can't even walk across the street without drooling on themselves working. what the fuck. since when was not returning calls or emails SINCE THATS A FUNCTION OF YOUR FUCKING JOB not a sign of incompetence?!?? and HELLO ALL MY GODDAMN ROCK CRITIC FRIENDS IM TALKING ABOUT YOU TOO CAUSE MAYBE WHEN I PITCH A PIECE AT YOU YOU COULD HAVE THE FUCKING DECENCY TO JUST SAY NO.
