what do i use to hook up a laptop to a mixer with RCA cable in/out, for DJing purposes

you need one of these

2 x RCA Sockets to Stereo 3.5mm Plug, which you put into the headphone out

then some rca to rca cables. you can also get cables that have 2 x RCA on one end and 3.5mm jack on the other...
