1st is Blacktail Butte: 7688 ft (2343 meters)

2nd is Static Peak....

Static Peak can be summitted from a non-technical standpoint from the Death Canyon Trailhead near Moose Junction, WY. Although the peak can be reached by non-technical means, the route is lengthy and very strenuous, gaining 5,000 feet of elevation in under 8 miles. Views from the top include Buck Mountain and the Teton Range to the north, Jackson Hole to the southeast, and the Wind River Range in the distant southeast.

I came in from the back through the Alaska Basin. One person in our expedition had to leave by Death Canyon after breaking their ankle.

#
# In _Jaws_, after Brody fires his pistol at the shark there are a few night shots. In both, a shooting star is plainly visible (optically added in post production - travelling left to right). This was internal linkSteven Spielberg's signature forewarning us to 'watch the skies' for his next movie...

haha, I considered going to the Teton Science School. It seemed interesting, but I think I was put off by the b&w brochure cover with the kid with the helmet in the middle of scree. They seemed to hate fun.
