I'M PROBABLY PLAYING THERE IN MAY WHEN I DO MY MINI EAST COAST TOUR.

FROM THE WEBSITE IT LOOKS REALLY SWANKY...

HERE IN DETROIT SWANKY BARS LIKE THAT ARE SCARY FOR NOISE, THEY UNPLUG YOUR SHIT AFTER LIKE 5 MINUTES AND TELL YOU TO GET THE FUCK OUT. SO IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ABOUT THIS PLACE LET ME KNOW.

THEY APPEAR TO BE PRETTY SWEET, SO I MIGHT BE PARANOID OVER NOTHING.

they did not get bitched at for shooting beer cans--that was totally okay. it was the breaking of the (spare) toilet they found in the basement and the throwing of chairs that caused the problems.

AS220 is fine for noise shows! don't worry! you should ask that God Willing play the show, though. He (Ren) is a good draw for local nerds. And better than Kites.

played there once. was kind of a last minute thing, so wasn't the most appropriate lineup, but the crowd & the staff were great and very noise, and we did a very strange show

well, i'm pretty sure we're playing with mudboy.

in detroit we usually have like 5 or 6 bands play at a time, so i mean, i'm sure there will be time for more bands.

it's the HELLFAUCET, VILLA VALLEY, KNIFE CITY tour. so us three plus mudboy makes that show 4... like i said, i havent played out of state really, so i'm trying to get my bearings the best i can.

The AS220 performance space is different now. they expanded into the space that used to be the irish pub next door, which they turned into a restaurant / bar. i haven't been to a show there yet, so i can't testify, but it seems as though it draws in more yuppies on the regular weeknight when i've walked past the last couple times.

they just had their re-opening type thing last weekend, so it is different from when ian or jon saw it last. :(
