Does GYGAX! like YES?

Ian c=====8 (orion), Monday, 16 August 2004 19:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Yesterday, I got Girlschool's Hit and Run LP for $2.99 and the Davie Allen and the Arrows Devils Angels soundtrack LP (a little scratchy, but actually not too bad!) for $1.99.

Dudez, so far the Girlschool album sounds grrrrr-ebt, I tell ya. Only listened to Side One.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Monday, 16 August 2004 19:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey, no purpozzee in posting h3re, but I'm in LA and fuck if I'm not lost as crap.

Sucks dude. Don't worry. Pinchot will get his.

I will be at Black Dizzle.

dean? (deangulberry), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:00 (twenty-one years ago)

I do not like Yes. They have their kitsch value but I'll take King Crimson over Yes any day of the week for my serious prog listening.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm trying to get into the box set, but cannot. OWNER OF A LONELY HEART!

dean? (deangulberry), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:35 (twenty-one years ago)

I AM NOT A TRIPSTER, I AM A HUMAN BEING

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:38 (twenty-one years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:51 (twenty-one years ago)

cutty (mcutt), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:53 (twenty-one years ago)

ddb and dean! are right. yes blows, including the first album. drugs sometimes dont enhance listening experiences. sometimes they fool you into thinking crap is good ;-0

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:54 (twenty-one years ago)

JACK COLE YOU ARE THE MAN DOGG NOW

dean? (deangulberry), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:55 (twenty-one years ago)

oh, my addition -- $2 for Vocokesh's Paradise Revisited

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:55 (twenty-one years ago)

don't blame drugs when you listen to Vocokesh.

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:56 (twenty-one years ago)

CEASAR'S PALACE
MORNING GLORIES
SILLY HUMAN RACE

andrew l. r. (allocryptic), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:57 (twenty-one years ago)

why do you think i posted that? tossing my dog a bone, yo.

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:57 (twenty-one years ago)

also, i dont need drugs to enjoy Vocokesh.

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:58 (twenty-one years ago)

jack cole OTM, my visual and audio experiences are usually enhanced by my exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 20:58 (twenty-one years ago)

the only additions i would chime in with for me are caffiene and nicotine.

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:01 (twenty-one years ago)

straight edge is dorky.

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:01 (twenty-one years ago)

going to shows and drinking caffeine >>>>> going to shows and drinking alcohol

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:01 (twenty-one years ago)

more often than not, especially since if i go to show its right after work, i need a coffee or a cola to keep me going, especially now that i am elderly and alcohol and dumb kids sucking up all my oxygen sometimes makes me sleepy.

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:04 (twenty-one years ago)

what about SPAPKS?

artdamages (artdamages), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:04 (twenty-one years ago)

dean! has scared me away forever. i have learned from his pain.

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:05 (twenty-one years ago)

going to shows and drinking caffeine >>>>> going to shows and drinking alcohol

WAY OTM, sadly.

dean? (deangulberry), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:07 (twenty-one years ago)

going to shows and drinking caffeine, alcohol combo >>>>> going to shows and drinking caffeine >>>>> going to shows and drinking alcohol

dean? (deangulberry), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Sparks is great aside from the horrible comedown and the heartburn that doesn't go away even after a couple weeks.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:08 (twenty-one years ago)

not going to shows and getting drunk = best of all!

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:09 (twenty-one years ago)

I should say, staying home and getting drunk, that is!

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:09 (twenty-one years ago)

the drunks in my life have ruined me getting drunk -- fucking bastards.

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Strangely enough, I hadn't had any Sparks-related heartburn until this last time, right after Gygax warned me about it. I blame gygax.

dean? (deangulberry), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:12 (twenty-one years ago)

who doesnt?

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:14 (twenty-one years ago)

my diet has become so bland lately and i haven't had a sparks since JaX0n's bday (3 weeks ago??!?!?)

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:14 (twenty-one years ago)

YOU NEED MORE MEXICAN FOOD STAT!

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:14 (twenty-one years ago)

i have never bought tums/rolaids until i drank a sparks.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:17 (twenty-one years ago)

nor even recognized the symptoms of heartburn for that matter.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:18 (twenty-one years ago)

however, 3 of my myspace friends are Sparks.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:18 (twenty-one years ago)

what is the sparks magical ingredient?

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Sparks is injected with caffeine, taurine plus natural herbs guarana and ginseng, oh also there's the 6% malt liquor.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:22 (twenty-one years ago)

C O C A I N E

dean? (deangulberry), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:22 (twenty-one years ago)

i'd much rather deal with a bloody nose than the pain in my throat/stomach after drinking a bloody mary a couple weeks ago.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:24 (twenty-one years ago)

welcome to my hellword since my birthday in march.

jack cole (jackcole), Monday, 16 August 2004 21:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Red Panda Sanskrit (ex machina), Monday, 16 August 2004 22:49 (twenty-one years ago)

go drink 3 sparks and then tell me how you feel tomorrow.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 16 August 2004 22:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Shooting rotten fruit gives me great joy.

I LIKE TO SHOOT WOMEN WITH MY LOVE JUICE

Ian C on T (orion), Monday, 16 August 2004 23:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Alright dudes, back to the topic at hand. Yes, the synth solo at the end of side one of Relayer is horribly cheesy and boring and REALLY MAKES ME THINK OF ELVES, but beside that, YES RULES.

Ian c=====8 (orion), Monday, 16 August 2004 23:55 (twenty-one years ago)

YES indeed RULEZ. EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT.

Monetizing Eyeballs (diamond), Tuesday, 17 August 2004 00:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Astral Traveller
(Anderson)

And in the ruins of the balloon
Stood a man with glasses held high,
Wandering when to do it again
Have another fly into the sky,
Somewhere flying high.

Astral traveller,
Leaving without her,
Wondering where lights go;
Leave out the body load.

Once in the air, people who dare
Get great respect in being.
(Astral traveller.)
Heavenly flight wondrous night
And all the sights worth seeing,
Just believe in.

Astral traveller,
Leaving without her,
Wondering where lights go;
Leave out the body load.

jack cole (jackcole), Tuesday, 17 August 2004 05:20 (twenty-one years ago)
