ILX MODS: Not stalking, he posted a comment on my HMHB review, that's how I found it. REPEAT: THIS IS NOT STALKING.

"Welcome to the Machine" gets my vote for the worst song this band ever recorded. And that is really really saying something.

There's a chance this album could be a hit because I can see it getting some crazy Pitchfork love and turning it into the Arcade Fire of 2008. Didn't they name "Heartbeat" their single of the year for 2004?

Ban either Mr Snrub or Bo Jackson Overdrive

Mr. Snrub, Thursday, 21 August 2008 03:57 (fifteen years ago) link

TOTAL NUMBER OF ILX POSTS THIS MONTH:
Bo Jackson Overdrive: 225
me: TOO LOW TO COUNT!!

Mr. Snrub, Thursday, 21 August 2008 04:02 (fifteen years ago) link

Two questions:

1. Why is it right after I post an ILX message in IE I get a totally blank white screen?

2. You know how some websites will have "lo-fi" and "hi-fi" versions of their websites to suit users with slow internet connections? Well, I'm always getting the "lo-fi" version whenever I use Firefox. Why is this?

Voting for "Hey Ya" because it's like the one song that's guaranteed to get an "I love this song!" if you play it in a crowded room. Like, everyone enjoys it and gets into it and sings along to it. You can't really say that about "Crazy." Both amazing single-of-the-decade-worthy songs though.

― Mr. Snrub, Saturday, December 13, 2008 9:20 PM (18 minutes ago) Bookmark Suggest Ban Permalink

I think it's amazing that "Crazy" is one of the biggest and most enduring songs of the decade, and yet it didn't even reach number one. Fuck the Billboard charts.

lady gaga gets a free pass from hipsters and britney spears doesn't because "poker face" and "just dance" are much much better songs (and better suited for the dancefloor, which is key) than fucking "hit me baby one more time" which is music for ten-year-olds.

plus, lady gaga sings about fucking all the time!! (even if she's really really ugly in real life)
