Yeah, I've never really had a bad experience with pot brownies or cookies. There was one Halloween where I am not sure how I managed to drive home, but it all worked out in the end. By comparison, I've only had one bad experience with psychedelics, and taken them probably a number of times comparable to the times I've eaten weed food.

I had a psychotic reaction to LSD :(

The only bad thing that happens to me with psychedelics is puking or stomach cramps.

I once got really, really bummed out and negative on mushrooms. I was instantly able to see how fake everyone was, and how pathetic the charade of social cooperation was. This was in the middle of winter in a filthy warehouse with my obnoxious roommate making fun of us for listening to HAWKWIND. Also, there was a party upstairs so all these fucking yuppie college students kept wandering in looking for a bathroom.

I tend not to cook with weed due to the fact that, uh, i'd rather smoke my bag over the course of a week or ten days or whatever rather than cook with it and have my pan of brownies be gone in a few days.

i eat the shit all the time. the dispensaries out here have bud soda, candy, chips everything.

hopefully i'm not jinxing myself here, but i find myself nearly incapable of having a bad trip on mushrooms. the closest i ever came to a bad trip was when my suite-mate, also tripping, started flipping out and trying to draw asymptotic graphs on the dorm wall and screaming at me that i was beelzebub, but i just thought that was some hilarious shit.

pod cookies have led to some unbearably emotionally heavy discussions but nothing too horrible.

the closest i have had to a bad trip was in highschool, i ate an eighth or something stupid and couldn't SEE or remember who or what i was and i felt totally detached from everything. but i think that only lasted for a minute or two.

i thought you were supposed make pot brownies with the leaves/stems and not the buds i.e. boil leaves/stems and butter in a pot of water for awhile, let it cool, then use thc-butter in the brownie mix. do the people who use buds just stir them in with the rest of the brownie mix? does that make the brownies too dry?

naw, when using buds you still need tot make THC butter.. there's just not enuff THC in stems to make particularly potent brownies, unless you got a LOT of 'em.

clarified butter keeps much longer -- no milk solids to spoil. afaik it doesn't lose potency over time as long as it's refrigerated.

and at that point some other rival promoter (no joke) who was having a party that night that he didnt bother to promote at all and who had tried to guilt us into combining parties (douche) arrived with an entourage of french-from-france rappers, one of whom took the stage and started djing really shitty music and basically 'ruining the vibe'

but then one of my other djs got all paranouid that they would want money for ruining our party (they did actually) so i freaked out in my crazy state and grabbed all the proceeds, stuffed them down my pants, seeing hostile faces everywhere in a total 'getting high and paranoid in amovie' style and tried to run home, only it was a snowstorm and i lost my way, i eventually made it tho

later that night soem guy DID try to run off with the cash box and got tackled... by the rival promoter

i dont know what the moral of that story is

pretty sure i've mentioned the time i ate a pot brownie right before getting on a plane across the country years and year ago. while melting into my seat waiting for the plane to take off, i hallucinated 3 different disaster scenarios, and one about aliens that was more interesting than disastrous. then the plane took off and, exhausted, slightly sweaty, i fell asleep.

That happened to a friend of mine in college, who had gotten permission from her parents to make medical brownies for consumption following a surgery. Her older brother - a minor local media figure and a complete and total square - dropped by one day and ate several brownies, without knowing of the arrangement. It was a bad, bad scene.
