in my presence, he checked his text messages innumerable times. he also wasn't kidding, during the show he announced that he had lost his wallet and had no cash, apparently this was the truth. otis pondered afterwards and decided that perhaps the reality is that mike skinner isn't making up one thing on his albums and they are word for word excerpts from his diary, because i kind of did feel like i was sitting through a stage production of original pirate material. i didn't mind but i decided he is too short, for me to make out with i mean. perhaps i am too tall?

ok re: mike skinner again for a moment, the thing was, we were going to go to their after-after party (???) with them but none of them seemed to know where they were going. i don't think that he knew where his hotel was. first it was on 69th street, then it was "further downtown" (we were at bar 13). otis and i gave up and blew them off, i mean he was hailing cabs for random girls that came out of the bar at that point, like a bellhop, and we decided no after-after party would be good enough. so hstencil is right, minder is needed v. badly for teh streets.

yes, he has those adorable bambi eyes.
last time he had his tour manager and several label people with him for the afterpartying, but they seemed quite happy to let him get up to all sorts of things until 9am, when he staggered out into broad daylight with a glass of vodka-cranberry in hand. bless!
