I BROKE MY LEG!!

well, not me but my friend. i did break my leg once and i had a very similar surgery/scars.

and have we all seen footage of the recent pro ski accident where the guy's leg rotated 1080 degrees below the knees and had to be amputated?

i broke both leg bones just above my right ankle when i was in fifth grade, cause i tried to steer a sled between two parked cars

my feet were flush up against the steerers in front of a flexible flyer, and my knees were locked. i went down a huge hill, and got to the bottom and got too scared to bail, so i tried to thread between two cars. i was going pretty fast, and i ran right into the front of a car. since my knee was locked, the bones just broke at a weakish point, right above my boot. it crushed some of each bone, but it wasnt a compound fracture or anything. i was in a full leg cast for like a month, then a shin cast for another three. i had to pee in a bottle at night, and my leg was rul rul skinny when it came out of the cast.
