two weeks pass...

Yesterday morning, there was a siren outside. Lucy says, "Is that a fire truck." "Yes." "Does it have fires all over it?"

This morning, she says to me, "What color are you? You look kind of green."

Informed me that she had been "sprinkling the flowers with nokey nuts." When asked about what nokey nuts are, replied that "when you crack them open, there's nothing inside" and that "when you chew the flowers, nokey nuts grow in your throat."
