Bum stiggedy bum stiggedy bum hon I got the old pa rum pum pum pum
But I can fe fi fo fum diddly bum here I come
So Peter Piper I'm hyper than Pinochio's nose
I'm the supercalafragilistic tic tac pro
I gave my oopsy daisy now you've got the crazy
Crazy with the books Googley goo where's the gravy
So one two unbuckle my um shoe
Yabba Doo hippity hoo crack a brew
So trick or treat smell my feet yup I drippedy-dropped a hit
So books get on your mark and spark that old censorship
Drats and double drats, I smiggedy-smacked some whiz kids
The boogedy-woogedly Brooklyn boy's about to get his, dig
My waist bone's connected to my hip bone
My hip bone's connected to my thigh bone
My thigh bone's connected to my knee bone
My knee bone's connected to my hardy-har-har-har
The jibbedy-jabber jaw ja-jabbing at your funny bone, um
Skip the ovaltine, I'd rather have a honeycomb
Or preferably the sesame, Let's spiggedy-spark the blunts, um
Dun dun dun dun dun, dun dun
They want EFX, some live EFX
They want EFX, some live EFX
They want EFX, some live EFX
Snap a neck for some live EFX
Well I'll be darned, shiver me timbers, yo head for the hills
I picked a weeping willow, and a daffodil
So back up bucko or I'll pulverize McGruff
'Cause this little piggy gets busy and stuff
Arrivederci, heavens to mercy, honky tonk I get swift
I caught a snuffleufagus and smoked a boogaloo spliff
I got the nooks, the cranies, the nitty gritty fodey-doe
All aboard, cast away, hey where's my boogaloo?
Oh I'm steaming, agony
Why's everybody always picking on me
They call me Puddin' Tane, and rap's my game
You ask me again and I'll t-tell you the same
'Cause I'm the vulgar vegemintarian, so stick 'em up freeze
So no Park sausages, Mom, please
A-blitz shoots the breeze, twiddly-dee shoots his lip
Crazy dazy shot the Sheriff, yup and I shot the gift
And that's pretty sneaky, sis oh yep
I got my socks off, my rocks off, my Nestle's cup of cocoa
Holly hobby tried to slob me, tried to rob me silly stunt
Diggedy-dun dun dun dun dun, dun dun
They want EFX, some live EFX
They want EFX, some live EFX
They want EFX, some live EFX
Snap a neck for some live EFX
Yahoo, hidee-ho yup I'm coming around the stretch
So here Fido boy, fetch, boy, fetch
I got the rope-a-dope a slippery choker, look at me get raw
And I'm the hickory-dickory top of morning boogoloo big jaw
With the yippedy zippedy Winnie the Pooh bad boy blue,
Yo crazy got the gusto, what up, I swing that too
So nincompoop give a hoot and stomp a troop without a strain
Like Roscoe B. Coltrane
I spiggedy-spark a spiff and give a twist like Chubby Checker
I take my Froot Loops with two scoops, make it double decker
Oh Vince, the baby come to Papa Duke
A babaloo, ooh, a babaloo boogedy boo
I went from Gucci to Stussy, to fliggedy-flam a groupie
To Zsa Zsa, to yibbedy-yabba dabba hoochie koochie
Tally ho I-I'll take my Stove Top instead of potatoes, so
Maybe I'll shoot 'em now, nope maybe I'll shoot 'em later, yep
I used to have a dog and Bingo was his name oh, so uh
B - I - N - G - O-oh
You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around, hon, so uh
Dun dun dun dun dun, dun dun
They want EFX, some live EFX

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:33 (twenty-one years ago)

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:33 (twenty-one years ago)

you need to rectify that

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:34 (twenty-one years ago)

i don't have a vcr and it's not on dvd yet.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:36 (twenty-one years ago)

i've been thinking of buying the region 2 dvd. hmm.

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:40 (twenty-one years ago)

it's part of the weird "DAVID LYNCH BOXSET" import DVD set that i gaze at wondering if it's widescreen/chaptered versions of his films.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:42 (twenty-one years ago)

GYGAX! do you know where that staircase is at that Cage kills that guy on at the beginning of the movie? Somewhere in LA?

flamejugglersgoldandsilverminescliffdiverscavernsandcavesfilledwithstalacti (dea, Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:44 (twenty-one years ago)

i don't fuck with imports. i'll wait for domestic.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Keep waiting then.

flamejugglersgoldandsilverminescliffdiverscavernsandcavesfilledwithstalacti (dea, Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:46 (twenty-one years ago)

flamejugglersgoldandsilverminescliffdiverscavernsandcavesfilledwithstalacti (dea, Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:48 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm not holding my breath.*blasphemy alert* WAH is prob. my 3rd least fav lynch after dune & straight story anyway.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:48 (twenty-one years ago)

You are clearly retarded.

flamejugglersgoldandsilverminescliffdiverscavernsandcavesfilledwithstalacti (dea, Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Eraserhead I might consider buying import.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:49 (twenty-one years ago)

HAHAHA YOU CAN GET IT ON REGION 0/1

flamejugglersgoldandsilverminescliffdiverscavernsandcavesfilledwithstalacti (dea, Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:50 (twenty-one years ago)

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:50 (twenty-one years ago)

ROFFLE!!! :-P

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:50 (twenty-one years ago)

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:51 (twenty-one years ago)

You can buy it from davidlynch.com for much money or you can buy it elsewhere for less ;) if you're interested, email me.

flamejugglersgoldandsilverminescliffdiverscavernsandcavesfilledwithstalacti (dea, Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:53 (twenty-one years ago)

(also, you can get the short films on dvdr bootleg for way cheap ... apparently there are decent widescreen transfers of lost highway and wild at heart to become available soon cheap r0/r1)

flamejugglersgoldandsilverminescliffdiverscavernsandcavesfilledwithstalacti (dea, Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:54 (twenty-one years ago)

buy a multi-region player

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:56 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't find any in all of these damned animated gifs. JON!!! CURSE YOU (find it for me, pls? ok thx)

flamejugglersgoldandsilverminescliffdiverscavernsandcavesfilledwithstalacti (dea, Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm not that into buying DVDs right now. My Lynch obsessive period occured back in the 90's before DVD. I still have the complete Twin Peaks box on SLP VHS. Lately more into Frence new wave and shit but like I said I'm more into spending money on CDs cuz I hardly
ever feel like watching movies anymore.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:57 (twenty-one years ago)

i have a dvdboot of the mulholland drive TV pilot (SHIT-TY quality).

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:58 (twenty-one years ago)

should say French New Wave, duh

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 22:59 (twenty-one years ago)

All i've got on DVD is Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, TPseason1,TPFWWM.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I just sold that VHS box set.

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I let someone borrow my Twin Peaks Pilot DVD but I forgot who. :-\

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I just got The Beaver Trilogy! WHEE. Rabbits too.

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I wanted the TP Pilot DVD with the French ending, but alas ...

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:04 (twenty-one years ago)

dean where did you get rabbits? can you send it to me?

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I still have TP pilot w/euro ending on VHS. like i say my VCR is broke, doh.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:05 (twenty-one years ago)

cutty email me minus the gibberish at the end of my email addy

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:05 (twenty-one years ago)

done

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:07 (twenty-one years ago)

no way, the TP Pilot is good... I think it's from singapore or taiwan.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:13 (twenty-one years ago)

since I already got called a retard I may as well lay it out. Please follow suit, I'd like to know your Lynch assesments.

Eraserhead>Blue Velvet>Mulholland Drive>TPseries>Lost Highway>FWWM>Elephant Man>Wild at Heart>Dune>The Straight Story

These would probably change drastically if I had seen them all recently. And I don't DISLIKE any of them. SS has awesome aerial shots, and Dune might've been the best film if Dave had final cut.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:15 (twenty-one years ago)

assessments, jeez again with the typos

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:16 (twenty-one years ago)

no way, the TP Pilot is good... I think it's from singapore or taiwan.

The DVD of the pilot that I have is without the hilarious "ending."

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Eraserhead>Blue Velvet>Wild at Heart>FWWM>Mulholland Drive>the rest

end of story

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:17 (twenty-one years ago)

aaron. you don't have to CORRECT EVERY TYPO! just the special ones.

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:18 (twenty-one years ago)

sorry I'll try not to be so anal

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:19 (twenty-one years ago)

I was used to boards where you could edit typos before ILX and it haunts me.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Lost Highway > Mulholland Drive > Fire Walk With Me > Blue Velvet > Wild At Heart > On The Air > Twin Peaks > Elephant Man > Straight Story > Eraserhead > Hotel Room > Industrial Symphony #1 > Dune

My list is definitely subjective, tho.

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Straight Story > Eraserhead

NOW WHO IS CLEARLY RETARDED????

sorry, couldn't resist. carry on.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Awesome aerial shots, etc.

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Also, don't forget "On The Air > Twin Peaks."

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:26 (twenty-one years ago)

haven't seen OTA/HR/IS#1, can't speak to that.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:30 (twenty-one years ago)

IS#1 sucks. I just put that in there to tease you about Dune sucking.

Be Sure To Roop, Roop, Roop !!!! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:31 (twenty-one years ago)

to tease you about Dune sucking

no guff from me there, even Lynch hates the fucker.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 30 June 2004 23:36 (twenty-one years ago)

two weeks pass...
Eraserhead>Blue Velvet>Mulholland Drive>TPseries>Lost Highway>FWWM>Elephant Man>Wild at Heart>Dune>The Straight Story

I managed to catch WAH on Sundance or IFC during the break, and I'll admit I liked it better than I remember. I'll stick it ahead of Elephant Man for now, and if I ever get around to seeing Lost Highway again and it's not as good as I thought the list could go like this: TPseries>FWWM>WAH>Lost Highway, we'll see. Nic Cage still annoys the hell out of me in a general sort of way in that movie, though.

I did checkout davidlynch.com as well. Dude wants like an extra $50 for a signed copy of Eraserhead. Think I'll just get an unsigned copy and get the short films DVD as well. Thanks for the heads up, as I was (obv.) not aware Lynch was self releasing his old stuff.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Friday, 16 July 2004 21:07 (twenty-one years ago)

I love Wild at Heart but I've only ever seen my Worldvision DUD copy, so that is why it is so low. Funny you should revive this thread too as I just noticed that a screening of the X-rated WAH is showing at the Nuart in LA in Sept.

(fyi - you can get cheap dubs of eraserhead, short films, rabbits and other lynch stuff online ... save yr $$$)

dean? (deangulberry), Friday, 16 July 2004 21:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Which reminds me cuttsssseey, did you ever get rabbits? If not, PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS. It is terrible. I'll sell you my copy ;P

dean? (deangulberry), Friday, 16 July 2004 21:17 (twenty-one years ago)

cheap dubs of eraserhead, short films
If the self-released DVD transfers are pristine it might be worth it(?)
They're only like $5 more than a criterion DVD or whatever. If they're crap it's a rip off, but...

IM MAKING MY LUNCH
As for this, jeez. It was such a blink and you'll miss it thing in WAH no wonder I forgot about it after 10 years. I had only the vaguest memory of CG even being in the film at all.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Friday, 16 July 2004 21:30 (twenty-one years ago)

I'd rather pay $13 than $48 just to get extra packaging and slightly better quality, but that's just me. How often are you going to watch eraserhead and the short films, anyways?

dean? (deangulberry), Friday, 16 July 2004 21:58 (twenty-one years ago)

ummmmmm, they're both selling for $39.94 right now. Which is not bad considering you routinely see Kurosawa and Renoir Criterion stuff for $34.99 at Border's and such. I'm enough of a fan to justify that cost. (though not NEARLY enough of a fan to justify the $90 autographed Eraserhead, sheesh).

AaronHz (AaronHz), Friday, 16 July 2004 22:14 (twenty-one years ago)

$40 + S/H. I can't say for certain that the S/H will be $8 as I'm not a member of dl.com, but just from the size of those boxes and the probable weight, I'd say it's a good bet that they're not shipping them media mail.

dean? (deangulberry), Friday, 16 July 2004 22:23 (twenty-one years ago)

you win, dean. DL's site is a BITCH to navigate on a slow connection, but after putzing around for about 10 minutes I've found out that the shipping costs are outrageous:
Order will be shipped via United Parcel Service:
Next Day Air
$35.76
2nd Day Air
$17.86
3 Day Select
$13.99
Ground
$11.26

never mind the fact that I get my mail at a PO box and can't receive UPS where I live.
FUCK IT! Give me a link to these cheap bootlegs and I'll consider my options...

AaronHz (AaronHz), Friday, 16 July 2004 22:38 (twenty-one years ago)

OMG! This just further confirms that despite my love for David Lynch, he is, in fact, quite the bitch. God, that's hilarious.

Email me about the bootlegs....

dean? (deangulberry), Friday, 16 July 2004 22:43 (twenty-one years ago)

ok I emailed you, I think. It is ilx_omg etc etc with the spaces, I hope? You don't by any chance have Ruben & Ed or any other Trent Harris, do you? Cheapest used R&E VHS I've found is $30.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Friday, 16 July 2004 23:10 (twenty-one years ago)

I have the Beaver Trilogy.

dean? (deangulberry), Friday, 16 July 2004 23:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Which reminds me cuttsssseey, did you ever get rabbits? If not, PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS. It is terrible. I'll sell you my copy

naw, i didn't order it, the process seemed like too much of a chore. it sucks, eh? bah
