my mom sends me greeting cards like once a month w/ encouraging notes in them

lol my mom sends me these pain-in-the-ass-to-load but very cute animated greeting cards like every other major holiday

im impressed & touched & not irritated at all w/ her for this mostly because she knows jack shit about operating computers & i myself dont know how the fuck to get my hands on those stupid fucking things so its an obv sign she cares

My mom sends me TXT messages using her own made-up abbreviations that coincide with none of those in common use.

i like that she does that, can we see an example?

guys this has been a long joke w/ my sisters and i. my dad used to leave us 'to do' lists and would over abbreviate. i have to find the story i wrote about it but they would essentially read like

It is an old expression but has been re-introduced in today's Urban Language.
