Steven Quincy Urkel (born 1976), better known as Steve Urkel (portrayed by Jaleel White) was the breakout character on the 1990s sitcom Family Matters. Urkel was an archetypal nerd, with large, thick eyeglasses, "high-water" pants held up by suspenders, and a high-pitched voice with a snorting laugh. His first car was a BMW Isetta. While highly intelligent, he was also quite accident-prone and socially awkward. Urkel was originally a one-shot character on Family Matters, but, because of audience and ratings reaction, he became the show's main character and by the third season many feel the show had become "The Steve Urkel Show". His main interactions on the show were his crush on Laura Winslow, and his perpetual annoyance of her father Carl.

The first time I ever saw him was on Full House.

The premise of the show, as established in the first episode, involves recently widowed San Francisco sportscaster Danny Tanner, who is left to raise his three young daughters D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle following the death of his wife, Pam, in a car accident involving a drunk driver (but the cause of her death is not revealed until the season 2 episode, Goodbye Mr. Bear). He recruits his best friend from college, Joey Gladstone, and his late wife's younger brother, Jesse, to help him take care of his girls. Many of the show's exploits surround the idea of three "swinging" bachelors trying to rein in the precocious antics of three little girls, who frequently got the best of them. Joey makes a living primarily as a stand-up comedian, Jesse as a struggling musician who also works for his father's exterminating company and, in episode four: It's Not My Job of season two, quits the family exterminating business. Eventually, Danny becomes the co-host of the morning talk show "Wake Up, San Francisco" alongside Rebecca Donaldson, who begins dating Jesse. Jesse and Rebecca marry and have twin sons, Nicholas and Alexander (better known as Nicky and Alex). The girls grow up as the series goes on, and boyfriends are introduced. The extended family all live together in the same "full" house.

Daniel Ernest Tanner (born 1957) was the father on the TV series Full House. He was played by Bob Saget. Danny was obsessed with cleaning and making his house spotless. Danny is the widowed father of DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle after wife Pam's 1987 death.

The very conservatively dressed Danny seems out of place in San Francisco. He likely moved out to San Francisco after his parents divorced, as in the episode "Terror in Tanner Town" he mentions living through a divorce when he was about the age of the mischievous son of a woman he liked, Cindy.

Danny had several girlfriends on the show, the closest being Vicki Larson, whom he met while she was filling in for Rebecca Donaldson on the talk show Danny and Rebecca co-starred in, Wake Up Francisco, when Rebecca was out on maternity leave. Danny often dated beautiful models despite the fact that he was a dork and very skinny. Vicki and Danny had a long distance relationship when she took a job in Chicago, but eventually got engaged after Danny proposed to her at the fireworks dispaly during the family trip to Disney World. When they broke up in mid-season seven ("The Perfect Couple") so Vicki could take a job anchoring the news in New York, Danny began rearranging everything in the house because of his sadness.

Throughout the entire lifespan of the show, Danny is continuously obsessed with two things: cleanliness and group hugs. He is said to be a "Lean, Mean, Cleaning (sometimes "hugging) Machine".

This leads to the distinct possibility that several character traits are heightened because of lingering sadness over his wife's death. While he mentions a love of cleaning existing from when he was little, because he wanted to be like his mom (Doris Roberts as Claire Tanner), he is much more obsessed with it in early episodes than he likely ever was before Pam's death. Likewise, his reluctance to ever discipline Michelle may be because of sadness deep down over the fact Michelle doesn't have a mother, and also not having Pam there to ask about how to handle things. Indeed, even with the oldest, D.J., he talks about how things would be so much better if Pam were around in season seven's "The Apartment."

In the episode, "The Perfect Couple", Danny reveals on a game show that his worst nightmare is being in a crowded health spa and standing naked on a stairmaster.

The first vehicle Danny is revealed to own is a Ford Taurus. However, he owned a car named "Bullet", a red convertible as seen in the intro of Full House and in the episode "The Big Three-O" (the only episode it was seen).

David Jacob "DJ" Conner (played by Sal Barone in the pilot, and Michael Fishman for the remainder of the series-apparently Sara Gilbert didn't get along with Sal) - DJ was a lonely, bizarre, and unpopular child who was frequently taunted by his sisters. He is portrayed as being something of a simpleton in school and abnormally weird, as in the time he peeked at both Darlene and Becky naked at different times, as well as the time Becky found dismembered Barbie dolls under his bed. As a teenager, he showed interest in filmmaking and eventually found a girlfriend sharing his interests. One episode dealt with DJ's relationship in a mature way, showing their decision not to have premarital sex. His full name, David Jacob, was mentioned only two times during the show's entire run. He is said to have been born in 1981.

Roseanne D.J. "claims he wants to get back into the entertainment industry."

Jeez, I've watched the entire series way too many times then. I totally knew it was "David Jacob".

Gigli, is often considered along with Battlefield Earth and I Know Who Killed Me to be the worst picture of the decade. In addition, the film's wikipedia page has been vandalized several times to the point that at one point it had to be blocked from editing and has also resulted in several wikipedia users getting blocked from editing. All of these factors have added up to make it infamous as one of the worst movies ever made.

Personal life

On June 22, 1996, Cameron married NHL hockey player Valeri Bure (Valerij Vladimirovich Bure). They were introduced by Cameron's former Full House co-star Dave Coulier. She and Bure have three children: Natasha Valerievna Bure (b. August 15, 1998), Lev Valerievich Bure (b. February 20, 2000) and Maksim Valerievich Bure (b. January 20, 2002). They spend the majority of their time in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Plantation, Florida, where Valeri played for the nearby Florida Panthers. However, she is currently executive producing and starring in The Krew, a half-hour awareness video aimed at helping children avoid and/or deal with dangerous situations in everyday life.

In 2006, as a reflection of her evangelical faith, she began endorsing several online Christian homeschooling academies. In an article entitled, "'Submissive' is Not a Four-Letter Word," Cameron revealed the extent of her religious beliefs with quotes including, "I take joy in serving my husband" and "I gave up 'my rights' when I gave my life over to the Lord".[1]

In full evening dress, ladies frequently use the cape as a fashion statement, or to protect the wearer or the fine fabrics of eveningwear from the elements, especially where a coat would crush—or hide—the garment. These capes may be short (over the shoulders or to the waist) or a full-length cloak. Short capes were usually made of or trimmed in fur; today fur is less acceptable as a fashion accessory but the fabric of an evening cape must be expensive, with an opulent lining and trim. Typical fabrics used are velvet, silk and satin. Capes are still authorized as an alternative to the more utilitarian trenchcoat for U.S. Army officers in mess dress.

Delighting in the accuracy of this synopsis, the final sentence of which is an emotional roller coaster. Possible spoilers.

Each episode begins with Rosemary, the somewhat ditzy telephone operator, getting a call about a crime which she explains to Sergeant Flint. Penry, the janitor, overhears the conversation and proceeds to transform himself into the crime-fighting canine (whom Rosemary has a crush on) by slipping into the hidden room behind the vending machine, then jumping into the bottom drawer of his filing cabinet, getting stuck, and, with help from Spot, coming out of the top drawer.

After sliding behind an ironing board to the floor below, he bounces off an old sofa, through an open window, into a dumpster outside, and emerges driving his Phooeymobile. Even when he crashes into, harms, or otherwise inconveniences a civilian, the passer-by feels honored, as opposed to being annoyed or embarrassed, when they see who did it. One example was when he drove the Phooeymobile through wet cement, splattering the workers: they responded that it was an honor to have a whole day's work ruined by "the great Hong Kong Phooey". Despite his blatant lack of talent or intelligence, Hong Kong Phooey is feared by criminals and admired by citizens, but disliked by Sergeant Flint who sees him only as a hindrance to the police, and as evidenced in the final episode "Comedy Cowboys", Flint takes pleasure in arresting the framed hero (though he is later exonerated).
