I have noticed that some phrases are deemed racist while others are not. Which of the following is racist in your eyes? Do you have others to add?
Here is a few:-
Chinese/Japense/Oriental = Chink
Brown Asian = Paki or Curry (In Australia)
French person = Frog or fries
German = Nazi
Jew = ? Antisemetic is apprantly strong but can't think of anything
Arab = Terrorist/Bin Ladin
Afro/Carrabian = Monkey/Marathon runner ect..
Irish = paddy/dumb ect..
Scottish = Jock/ skirt wearers
English = Losbeef/Hooligans
Italian = greasy/peperonis/pizza eaters/cheats
Argentinians = argies/cheats
Brazilians = brazil nuts/
ect ect.. I am sure you get the picture.
These boards have gone rub methinks and I am not helping.

I was working out which you find offensive and which are not.
E.G Frogs is apparantly non offensive whereas Pakis is offensive?

I think "frog" can be offensive but I know what you mean, it's more of an accepted form of racism - dunno why. If England were to play France in a football match it would be all "fuckin' frogs raaargh" but not so much if it were Pakistan. Is it an ethnicity thing? Like, is it worse to call someone a rag-head or a kraut or a spic or a Yank?
Funnmy how Spic and Wop are generally considered to be semi-offensive (i.e. if you heard someone say it you'd think of them as racists. If you call someone a Paki or a Nigger then that's definitely racist. But if you call someone a Frog or a Paddy then it's only considered vulgar and offensive, but not really racist (unless it's followed up with serious abuse.).

Calling us Scots skirt-wearers and jocks? We're either too ratted or smacked to care, right? Also, haven't we missed the under-rated 1980s tv-comedy staple "dago"? (Does that need capitalised?) Perhaps we should create an ill-advised dictionary of quote-unquote racist terminology. Then again, I can't see the nice people at OED publishing said work.
