Help me choose a video game Halloween costume

I would like to be something video game related for Halloween but I'm drawing a blank. I am a lady, so it would be preferable to be a female character of some kind (or perhaps something gender-less like a tetris block). It is also important to note that I do not wish to be a pretty pretty princess or a scantily clad assassin. Surely my options are not that limited though.

A Samus costume seems like too much work. Any other ideas?

you could go as the "basic" katamari or even better do that and stick miniature stuff (like dollar-store toys, cows, cars, stuff like that) all over the costume!

howdy. i'm doing halloween as a GHOST PIRATE with a beard a la LeChuck from Monkey Island. not LeChuck specifically as my coat is green :(
