I was a big fan of the first one(CGA goodness and all), and always liked the 2nd. Haven't played the 3rd one, but have any of you?

hold up, that shot is actually from Transport Giant, which comes up in a RRT3 search.

Ooh, the minigame on that site is cute. It's just a speedy version of that old pipes game, but it's still fun. I clocked it first time, and got 22,150.

I did love RRT2. But more seems like more of the same...

Open source version of Transport Tycoon which is a bit different that RRT but similar enough for me to drop here

I once bought Transport Tycoon, installed it, started dabbling away and then all of a sudden came to the realisation.....

transport tycoon is fun.. although the version i had had a 80 vehicle limit which sucked!!! 80 buses was enough for like 5 towns or something

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 31 January 2006 23:25 (twenty years ago)

Yea, the open source one is awesome but you have to really crank up yr vehicle limits in prefs to make using buses worthwhile at all

I love Transport Tycoon, if only for the music. I've not tried the open source one yet though, which is bizarre as I'm on Linux and should be jumping at the chance to play any game. Nethack/Wesnoth are more than enough though, really.
