Feel free to add your own :)

melton mowbray (adr), Sunday, 12 February 2006 09:47 (twenty years ago)

Cannon fodder! I remember that one.

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 12 February 2006 09:54 (twenty years ago)

I have love for cannon fodder on the amiga.

The "war never been so much fun" song is permanently ingrained on my brain.

jeffrey (johnson), Sunday, 12 February 2006 15:30 (twenty years ago)

Waverace 64
(the original) Worms
Zarch
Tim Love's Cricket

JimD (JimD), Sunday, 12 February 2006 18:00 (twenty years ago)

Waverace 64 was pretty cool!

A BOLD QUAHOG (ex machina), Sunday, 12 February 2006 18:27 (twenty years ago)

Okay so in cannon fire on Mega Drive, HOW DO I SHOT GRENADE? I have no manual :(

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Sunday, 12 February 2006 21:07 (twenty years ago)

I have never heard of MM's other two!

Worms is supergreat obviously.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Sunday, 12 February 2006 21:08 (twenty years ago)

Hold shoot, and click move while you're still holding it down, but stay back! I lost Jools this morning to a rogue roof that came flying off a building.

If you're playing on an emulator, I can stick a rom for Puggsy in the YSI thread. It's so amazing. (but you've got to give it a couple of levels to prove itself)

polyphonic (polyphonic), Monday, 13 February 2006 07:59 (twenty years ago)

Cannon Fodder for SNES got plenty of love on the appropriate thread! I feel ignored.

Is there any love for Rings Of Power? At all? At all?

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 22 February 2006 17:30 (twenty years ago)

I almost bought Rings of Power on ebay the other day actually! The box art makes it look amazing. Should I have got it?

melton mowbray (adr), Wednesday, 22 February 2006 17:55 (twenty years ago)

Rings of Power is great! It took me weeks to beat. I've tried playing it on emu and it's just not the same.

haha otm

Ste (Fuzzy), Saturday, 25 February 2006 02:48 (twenty years ago)

MM - yes buy it! it is:

a) stupidly and unfairly hard
b) the biggest feeling rpg I have ever played - you get complete freedom of the whole world almost instantly, and it's so varied and detailed and non-machine generated and great, every location is full of tricks and surprises and easter eggs. I would happily pay cash dollars for a complete RoP map poster thing.
c) great

NV I have still never beaten it! I am stuck on the ring with the disappearing and reappearing trees, wtf?

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Saturday, 25 February 2006 19:44 (twenty years ago)

I would happily pay cash dollars for a complete RoP map poster thing.

Oh yes, that's why I didn't buy it! I noticed another (much) more expensive one had a poster, so decided to wait. I'll definitely get it eventually though, it sounds excellent.

melton mowbray (adr), Saturday, 25 February 2006 20:21 (twenty years ago)

Wait wait, the poster exists??

Laura H. (laurah), Wednesday, 12 April 2006 00:07 (twenty years ago)

a.b. (alanbanana), Wednesday, 12 April 2006 00:18 (twenty years ago)

Laura OTM. I wasted years of my life playing that thing.

melton mowbray's APOCALYPTO! (adr), Wednesday, 12 April 2006 00:27 (twenty years ago)

I think we must share the same video game hive mind. Just about every game you mention is a favorite of mine.

Laura H. (laurah), Wednesday, 12 April 2006 00:39 (twenty years ago)

Oh shit jumping flash! JF2 was good too. I wish I could play them right now

John's second OTM. (Those are some lame-ass character names though)

The Incredible Machine! That level with the balloons and the sad balloon music should have been in my top three stages ever, I can't remember if it was.
