- my front line is Alex Ovechkin, Pavel Datsyuk, & Maxim Afinogenov
- my first game on All-Star difficulty (after scoring 5 goals on the hapless D-Stars the previous game), I won 7-4

I totally slept on this thanks to NBA 2k7, which I am now totally over after realizing that no amount of work will ever make the Hornets a good team ever. Maybe I'll pick it up this weekend--is the shooting mechanic at all improved or does it still feel like a soccer game icecapades?

I don't know what the shooting mechanic used to be like, but it seems fine to me.

BTW, my love soon turned to hate when the XBox team started to play out of their minds. Goalie standing on his head, every pass connecting, no breathing room w/ puck when I tried to enter the offensive zone, nigh-impossible to knock them off the puck. Lost 7-4 about 20 times before I went back to Pro level.

I haven't played a hockey game since NES Ice Hockey. Do the changes they make each year really necessitate a repurchase? Why don't fans wait a year and get them from a dollar bin?

I started doing this with Madden when it became apparent that they weren't going to add new features worth the value anymore.

The one thing that cheeses me off = WHERE ARE THE HARTFORD WHALER JERSEYS?!?! Winnipeg, Quebec, pre-NJ Colorado, Minnesota, BUT NO HARTFORD?!?!?!?

Where have you been the past 10 years of NHL video games? Hartford Whalers won't release their logo's rights to the video games. The person who owns the rights is a crazy mf.

Also, by unis, I thought you meant universities or something, and got very excited, hoping that 2K7's franchise mode had a depth comparable to EHM 2007.
