lehigh and ohio are making a good showing in the first half

nice that the plumlees will get one more match up vs a team with no bigs so that everyone can pretend like they're good enough to play for duke

i don't really understand them -- they are actually pretty athletic! yet they suck

poor coaching amirite

they're just super unskilled... i'm not sure whose fault that is

the darker haired one is athletic enough to be a pretty good rebounder but whenever they play other good bigs (zeller, reggie johnson) they get dominated

i truly believe that duke would never lose a game like this because there's no way the refs could stand up to coach k if things really went down to the wire

i'm trying to think of anything more toxic than nantz & kellogg calling duke

one becomes accustomed to a duke team with maybe one player who can create his own shot, or one that lives and dies by three-point shooting

clark kellogg is rather more sympathetic than billy packer was, at least

he's just reeeeeeeeeeeeeally boring on TV

and not that this is necessarily his fault, but he partners with the most hateable man on TV, so some of it drifts toward him

i saw the michigan/osu conference tourney game and michigan looked like the worst team in the big ten idgi

basically they had three good wins (osu, mich st, ind) all at home, didn't do shit on the road/neutral court... and that can be good enough to get you a 4 seed

but ohio state is overrated too and they beat mich st by a point

haha ohio state *destroyed* duke too

ohio state looks markedly worse than they did last year imo

MSU is my rooting interest so they got that going for them

but yeah, Big Ten w/e

i dunno -- i guess parity makes seeding harder, tho. 20 years ago you'd expect the 1 and 2 seeds to win by 30

MSU is awesome, i have them in the final game

Sullinger has been a big disappointment for the buckeyes this year
