A strange observation -- NCAA tournament games are much QUIETER than NBA games, and I kind of like it. NBA is super noisy.

yeah, that sorta happens when you have teams travelling to neutral sites on four days notice

I like this Brooklyn team they got heart.

I also used to live blocks from the school and walk by what I'm pretty sure was their gym, but until last year I thought it was a community college.

they go hard to the rim in a way not a lot of ncaa teams do

they just built a huge new athletic facility a few years ago and im p sure before that liu only had one team and they played at the long island campus

Not only that, but most NBA games pump the crowd noise through the P.A. This is one of the many things I hate about the NBA.

Tickets for UNC - Duke are always scalped for $500 - $1000. And that's twice a season. I can't think of another college rivalry so intense.

Also, things like this intensify the hatred. Fuck the refs who shamelessly allowed it all season.

^^ that vid shows numerous instances of horrible, obvious, unforgiveable traveling. The refs must never once have looked down to figure it out, or else they were gambling on the games. The ACC should be burning red in the face with shame for those refs' incompetance.

i don't have much of a problem with the walks off the catch, but the shuffling is terrible and blatant and is further evidence that no one ever taught rivers how to play basketball

yeah this is the drawback of the pod system for duke -- they don't have to travel far for the first round, but there are always more carolina fans
