lillard's game winner against detroit was unbelievable

le goon (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:14 (ten years ago) link

lillard is two years older than irving, never forget

lag∞n, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:16 (ten years ago) link

he is v good tho

lag∞n, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:17 (ten years ago) link

One of the best things about lillard is that stats and touches mean absolutely nothing to him. His coach might have strong opinions about how he needs to be involved in the offense, but lillard invests zero importance in his personal numbers once a game is over. His whole demeanor shouts the truth of that.

Aimless, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:19 (ten years ago) link

yeah seems like a real pro.

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:22 (ten years ago) link

Iggy is back btw, all is right in the world.

Beyond Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland and Philadelphia, I know there's one more significant team in Asik mix. "A wildcard," a source says.

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:23 (ten years ago) link

ooh ryan anderson with the dirk(TM)

k3vin k., Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:26 (ten years ago) link

le goon (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:27 (ten years ago) link

billy king giving the blazers a top 3 protected first round pick for gerald wallace's floating corpse doesn't exactly make up for brandon roy and greg oden but i feel like we're 20% there

le goon (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:28 (ten years ago) link

Ryan Anserson shot was O__o he is way more than just a typical spot up shooter.

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:28 (ten years ago) link

dame mean-mugging >>>>>>>

Clay, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:30 (ten years ago) link

the funny thing about the crab dribble these days is lebron seems to be the only one who does it without traveling most of the time

k3vin k., Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:34 (ten years ago) link

Rose was really good at the crab dribble

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:35 (ten years ago) link

i mean i guess it's not a crab dribble technically unless you travel but you know what i mean

k3vin k., Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:35 (ten years ago) link

RIP

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:35 (ten years ago) link

I still can't believe Austin Rivers is in the league

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 04:46 (ten years ago) link

disgusting stepback from steph

k3vin k., Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:04 (ten years ago) link

was just typing that

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:06 (ten years ago) link

classic spaz outing from amundson

k3vin k., Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:24 (ten years ago) link

amundson just fouled out in what seemed like 5 minutes

k3vin k., Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:25 (ten years ago) link

how cool would it be to be some tall athletic guy who cant really play basketball that good but you get to be in the nba

lag∞n, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:28 (ten years ago) link

haha what was amundson doing? that last foul he was called out on was bogus tho

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:30 (ten years ago) link

sounds like a dream xp

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:30 (ten years ago) link

yeah that last call was bad

k3vin k., Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:31 (ten years ago) link

amundson and hansbrough were both on the pacers at one point right? we need to unite them, meyers leonard, and maybe ryan hollins for the all-intense benchwarmers all-stars

k3vin k., Wednesday, 18 December 2013 05:41 (ten years ago) link

it's been pointed out elsewhere, but batum's cockiness/early claim on that lillard shot is p fun

bear, bear, bear, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 07:22 (ten years ago) link

Guess it's a little too early to tell, but happy that it seems like Lillard isn't going to have the same career arc as Damon Stoudamire. Think he's getting better at using his athleticism to play proper defense, probably something that will continue to improve with more reps. Hope Portland manages to continue dropping his minutes a bit-- already down from 38 to 35 from last season.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 16:46 (ten years ago) link

having a proper backup helps. McCollum's return (?) could drop him another couple.

Clay, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 17:56 (ten years ago) link

If McCollum becomes available real soon, I could see them trying to work him into the regular rotation to see what happens, but unless CJ shows fairly quick success, the desire to keep the present chemistry and momentum intact could severely limit his minutes. After all, McCollum has not played a single nba minute, yet.

Aimless, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 19:48 (ten years ago) link

blazers barely beating bad teams last couple games chemistry is over good ride while it lasted rip rip city

lag∞n, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 19:54 (ten years ago) link

chandler back tonight, go Knicks

Clay, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 20:53 (ten years ago) link

happy about that, but don't anticipate him to come out the gate 100%

Nhex, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 20:58 (ten years ago) link

if it means less barnita in my life then I'm against it

Clay, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 21:02 (ten years ago) link

we can have our chandler and barnita too

lag∞n, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 21:04 (ten years ago) link

amare is out indefinitely anyway lol

lag∞n, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 21:04 (ten years ago) link

that's really sad, he finally seemed to be doing better (or trying?)

Nhex, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 21:07 (ten years ago) link

when he tries thats when he has to sit down for a week

Sounds like Giannis is starting :)

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 23:19 (ten years ago) link

What happened to stat?

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 23:37 (ten years ago) link

Hah Steven Adams gets under everyone's skin and he's so stoic about it.

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 23:42 (ten years ago) link

ffs Pacers always so unbelievably sloppy against the Heat. Very JV ball-handling.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Thursday, 19 December 2013 00:17 (ten years ago) link

Oh hey look it's PG trying to split a double team and losing it for the billionth time. Earlier this season Vogel/PG were kinda yucking up about Vogel forbidding PG from trying to split double teams last year because it was turning him into a turnover machine. He's been doing it a ton in the last ~10 games w/ the usual results.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Thursday, 19 December 2013 00:24 (ten years ago) link

Gotta get them MVP votes tho and nobody votes for crisply executed team defense rotations

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Thursday, 19 December 2013 01:35 (ten years ago) link

rip rip city

would require an 18 game losing streak to put them back to .500

Aimless, Thursday, 19 December 2013 01:41 (ten years ago) link

Kevin Love has 17-10-6 in 16 minutes

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 19 December 2013 01:46 (ten years ago) link

Ha! If you're gonna set your feet and wiggle your ass you have to at least hit the rim.

tsrobodo, Thursday, 19 December 2013 01:48 (ten years ago) link

Love always feels like he must show up Aldridge when they play each other. It's a thing with him.
