with denver, memphis, and minny in the running for the 8th spot

oh the thunder are fine they just have too many people/players i hate, obvs love KD and russ forever

2014 durant against 2014 lebron would be pretty incredible

kinda not into dallas unless dirk really gets to dirkin. voting for denver to get in

dallas is pretty watchable. you could make the case that the jazz, lakers, and grizz are the only unwatchable teams in the whole conference. and the lakers play fast and the grizz at least have a couple fun players

i don't know, the only first-round western conference matchup that feels potentially compelling from that list is OKC-dubs.

i guess i'd like to see the clippers smash the rockets into complete, utter oblivion. eh.

rockets would probably win that series, and i'd want to slam a sharpened lead-pencil into my earlobe.

all of those series would be bonkers, tho yeah would much prefer nugs play the spurs than the mavs

their defense is much better this year than last. their defensive efficiency is actually a touch below last year's, but they started really badly and have picked it up. they're playing faster which is why it looks like they're giving up more points

The worst thing about that randomly almost-good Knicks season last year is that it means they're all over the national tv schedule this year, although I will kind of enjoy watching the pacers smash them tonight
