xp sure enough, JR Smith was the weak link (among players you could even expect anything from) last night, although he did hit a pretty clutch 3 toward the end (and then miss the next one, iirc).

Zach Lowe @ZachLowe_NBA 11m11 minutes agoAnthony Davis has only committed 14 turnovers in 11 games. Not much (any?) precedent for such high usage/PER/low turnover rate.

yeah MJ was def stronger/more aggressive in his rookie year, but tbf he was two years older. Anyway not trying to build him up to be the next MJ, just see a lightness in his movement that reminded me a little of MJ.

from the grantland NBA shootaround:
The Knicks and the Lakers are nos. 1 and 2 (as of Monday) in percentage of field goal attempts taken from 16 feet to inside the 3-point line — i.e., the much-maligned long 2 — 29.5 percent for the Knicks, 25.6 percent for the Lakers. Both teams are in the bottom third of the league in percentage of attempts that are 3-pointers, an especially weird stat for the Knicks, who are shooting a league-leading 40 percent from beyond the arc.

weird, they are? I feel like they don't take many 3's when I watch them.
― my jaw left (Hurting 2), Wednesday, 26 November 2014 17:32 (nine years ago) link
And I'm right, they are 23rd in 3PA. So I feel like that stat is probably the result of them having a lot of randos who can neither shoot 3's nor drive just running in and chucking up long 2's.
