Nurkic getting a 2nd place vote actually is kind of ok. He really did play elite defense, which is all Nerlens did really. Not as big of a fan of the Elf first place votes.

mirotic isn't a real rookie

he's 23

24 and 2 months but point stands, not really much different from drafting a senior

did not realize he was that young, he looks old, like hes been alive since the bible

orlando drafting non shooting guards with high picks in back to back drafts is really something

he's a pretty baffling talent to me. He seemingly based everything off his jumper and then he comes to the NBA and is effective despite struggling with the jumper all year. He's more athletic than he seems too. xp

I actually think Dipo-Payton could work if Dipo could become a 38% or better 3 point shooter and I personally think he can

The Magic's horribleness with all that talent is pretty impressive really

idk i feel like dipo cant prob get to being a decent shooter/scorer but you prob dont want to pair him w a non shooter like payton, u just dont want non shooters on the perimeter at all really

I do think they ended up with two good players in drafts where that wasn't so easy

but yeah it's complicated.

shooting seems important, seems like many of the good teams shoot well

i am not sold on either of them tbh, tho oladipo prob has a pretty high floor

he's #2 surely, interested in seeing the totals as curry mvp seemed a sure thing by the end of the season

I'd guess it's near-unanimous curry as no 1 outside of local guys voting for harden and wb and lebron. That run curry had sit the end of the season was impossible to ignore.

seventh place is sort of interesting since the top six seemed relatively in stone. was aldridge the best of the rest?

played well through injury, so probably got some admiring the sacrifice votes, but that's 1 5th place and 3 6th place votes most of which are prob homers. I'd have voted gasol 6th personally.
