It's going to be a tough season no doubt. Lakers have one of the hardest predicted schedules obviously cus they can't play themselves at leat two times . Made a stupid bet with my old boss "battle of the worst big market teams" lakers vs knicks. Not feeling to good about it

I think it likely is for the nba, he might play in Europe/China for megabucks after this year imo

i could totally see him playing a year or two in italy for a large piece of team ownership. or in china for more money than you can imagine.

wouldn't be the worse move if he wants to continue to grow his empire post retirement

simmons wants to see him do tv and the couple of times i've seen him in that role he was good at it (better than shaq). tnt seems too invested in their 'we have fun, always a good time' to think about moving shaq which is a shame. maybe they could convince kenny to focus more on the reality show (did that ever actually air? did anyone watch it?) and then you could have shaq and kobe together. i'd watch that.

I predict kobe would be good as a broadcaster in that, after some initial practice at suppressing his true opinions, he would soon be able to synthesize an on-air personality blending the proper amount of seriousness and cliché, with just a pinch of genuine expertise for added spice. assuming he doesn't kill and devour his co-broadcasters off camera.
