As part of the trade Varejao will receive a $1 .17m trade bonus from Cleveland. Bonus does not have an impact on Cleveland's tax situation.

idk once yr maxed out it doesnt really matter as long as youre willing to pay the tax, cleve has the highest payroll in the league already xp

yeah my understanding is that the discussions just have to be initiated by the deadline but the details can continue to be worked out after?

yeah i think u can ask for an extension from the league if youre in the middle of getting all the details together

Pretty sure that trade would be about the pick, not about Roberts. Portland has a surplus of guards.

yeah portland just absorbing salaries in exchange for picks, they were under the salary floor too so its same diff to them as far as $$$ they have to pay
