yeah my understanding is that the discussions just have to be initiated by the deadline but the details can continue to be worked out after?

yeah i think u can ask for an extension from the league if youre in the middle of getting all the details together

Pretty sure that trade would be about the pick, not about Roberts. Portland has a surplus of guards.

yeah portland just absorbing salaries in exchange for picks, they were under the salary floor too so its same diff to them as far as $$$ they have to pay

Ha I forgot about him too, this has been a great deadline for "he's still in the league?" guys

on the one hand, markieff pushes their ceiling to... losing in the first round instead of not making the playoffs?

on the other hand it's not like the wiz ever use their draft picks correctly so

nets should trade everyone away and forfeit every game for the rest of season

markieff is on a friendly contract too

as long as he produces at his normal level

It's bizarre to me that Markieff (mailed in a season) and D-Mo (barely played due to back injury) got 1sts, and T. Harris didn't.
