i hesitate to even mention this cause from his demeanor and on court actions he appears to be simply a solid with it young man playing his position as well as any rookie can be expected - its probably just a case of being understandably somewhat overwhelmed by the newness of the spotlight but derrick rose is possibly the worst interview ive ever seen - hes seems retarded

p?nico (ice cr?m), Friday, 1 May 2009 22:29 (fifteen years ago) link

i was saying that after game 1. he seems almost somber.

saturday night is going to be a fuckshow. i am going to have about 50 more heart attacks.

d rose doesn't strike me as being the sharpest knife in the drawer, to put it kindly.
he played like total shit after the 1st half.

except for the rondo blk obv

i figured it out. c's sold their soul to the devil aka kevin maurice garnett to get themselves outta the cellar and win another title.

hope this helps (Granny Dainger), Friday, 1 May 2009 22:40 (fifteen years ago) link

Yeah that Rose interview was just squirmingly uncomfortable to watch.

Alex in SF, Friday, 1 May 2009 23:17 (fifteen years ago) link

BTW I refuse to believe that Rose is 6'3. That's like Kevin Love being 6'10 or whatever. I'm not even sure Rose is taller than Rondo.

Alex in SF, Friday, 1 May 2009 23:26 (fifteen years ago) link

you'll love this then

het finally unleashed beasley and he threw down 22-15 in 36mis - haslem should get in foul trouble more often

just got to hear that steve holman clip, that was great. dude deserves some kind of commendation for doing over 1600 consecutive hawks games.

after half an hour of clicking when the tix went on sale yesterday, i managed to get a seat for today's bos-chi grand finale. i'm stoked ... and super-nervous!!

collardio gelatinous, Saturday, 2 May 2009 15:16 (fifteen years ago) link

oh wow way to go. i didn't know you were in MA.

Okay I still don't know if Rose is 6'3, but damn is he an athlete. That Scal block was a beauty.

Alex in SF, Sunday, 3 May 2009 00:31 (fifteen years ago) link

lebron-esque

so many ball hogs on the bulls - no idea how gordon and salmons exist on the same court

Scalabrine is so hilarious looking to me. He is like the official mascot of Boston sports.

moullet, Sunday, 3 May 2009 02:10 (fifteen years ago) link

prob was impossible 4 this game 2 live up 2 the series so far but this game was a snore

johnny crunch, Sunday, 3 May 2009 03:03 (fifteen years ago) link

It would've been one of the best games in the Lakers/Utah series.

Your heartbeat soun like sasquatch feet (polyphonic), Sunday, 3 May 2009 03:08 (fifteen years ago) link

Well there was zero drama in that series. When it got to 5 in the 4th, I was not totally convinced the Celts would win.

Alex in SF, Sunday, 3 May 2009 04:00 (fifteen years ago) link

:)

nah rong (Dr. Phil), Sunday, 3 May 2009 07:25 (fifteen years ago) link

crazy crazy series my god - a round of applause all around - kudos kudos

p?nico (ice cr?m), Sunday, 3 May 2009 12:52 (fifteen years ago) link

yeah, hats off. the bulls proved formidable.

for a c's fan, game 7 turned out to be a relatively relaxing one (er, after the first quarter) with some encouraging signs of life from the c's bench, esp. marbury and house who played some shutdown D.

well, on to orlando: perk will need to become a foulproof ninja!

collardio gelatinous, Sunday, 3 May 2009 16:41 (fifteen years ago) link

amongst all the magnanimity i will say joakim noah is a silly little bitch

p?nico (ice cr?m), Sunday, 3 May 2009 16:46 (fifteen years ago) link

scalabrine with the 3's XD

nah rong (Dr. Phil), Sunday, 3 May 2009 16:48 (fifteen years ago) link

so glad the bulls finally have a player for others to hate on again

hope this helps (Granny Dainger), Sunday, 3 May 2009 17:21 (fifteen years ago) link

man i dunno hes more embarrassing than villainous - reacting like a 4 y/o to every new development - running up the court w/his imitation war face - lacking any actual basketball skills - on the other hand i compliment the bulls tolerance in being the first nba team to give significant minutes to a transsexual

"lacking any actual basketball skills"

Impressive that he managed 11 PPG and 13 RPG despite that fact.

Alex in SF, Sunday, 3 May 2009 17:47 (fifteen years ago) link

hes really tall and good at running around and jumping but have u ever seen him try to shoot or do anything else w/a basketball

p?nico (ice cr?m), Sunday, 3 May 2009 17:48 (fifteen years ago) link

Thankfully not.

Alex in SF, Sunday, 3 May 2009 18:28 (fifteen years ago) link

So that stat of teams that won a season series 3-0 or better being 25-0 in the playoff is pretty wow.

Alex in SF, Sunday, 3 May 2009 18:29 (fifteen years ago) link

ahh feelin good today, no coronaries last nite and finally some help from the bench.

you realize this describes about 30 nba dudes. u just mad cause he made your boyfriend look the fool in game 6.

the whole "haha he looks like a girl whatnot having teh long hair" was played out like 2 years ago. even amongst 12 year olds.

hope this helps (Granny Dainger), Sunday, 3 May 2009 22:27 (fifteen years ago) link

i hated him pretty fiercely for awhile, but he's developing into someone who's good to have on your squad, basketball "skills" or not.

hope this helps (Granny Dainger), Sunday, 3 May 2009 22:28 (fifteen years ago) link

maybe to u girls and trannys are the same thing but for most of us
