i think that's a good idea -- it's the same w baseball, can't get into it until there's some real stakes

just too much scoring

maybe focus on defensive schemes first. things happen fast, so you'll need to widen your focus from watching the ball to watching areas of the court and the flow of motion. it'll start to make better sense after a while.

the key really is just finding players (or teams) that you love to watch

Since the start of last season, Devin Booker has only been able to play in 15 straight games or more twice. Hasn't done it this season.

Here are his consecutive games played streaks:

2017-18: 20, 5, 15, 3, 9, 2.

2018-19: 4, 14, 1, 12, 11, 5 (current)

warriors are so trash to start games these days. its like they go into every game checking to see if they can win it at like 60% effort then get behind and have to crawl back the rest of the game. they should know by now they're gonna get the best from every team every night (for the most part)

It's pretty maddening. Hit a couple of jump shots/drive to the rim before you just start hoisting.

Cousins seems really bad at defense.

He was already slow footed. Add the injury and rust...

He does have good hands and is good at anticipating things about to happen which allows him to take charges

the warriors big 5 lineup has been a negative in about 200 minutes so far, which is really interesting

anyway I hope the warriors crash and burn so durant leaves, it would be the best thing for the league

I think Durant is leaving either way. They have no real cohesion when boogie in the lineup. Gonna be some real tough calls in the playoffs where he may be unplayable and he isn’t gonna like being benched.

Curry has been cold since the all star break which is usually when he gets on fire.

It’s a lot of push and pull w Durant you can tell they are on eggshells around him and no one knows what his deal is.
This happens a few times per game and granted this is a bad play and he should’ve gotten the ball but he does this on someone else’s made bucket pretty often too

it's very hard for me to conceive of the bucks making a complete playoff run. toronto too for a different set of reasons. the warriors should be able to size up any first-time finals team and roast them.

i said early in the season i thought the eastern team had a great chance to win this year... the warriors look vulnerable every year in the playoffs and the east has 4 teams that can compete with them this year

2nd rounds and beyond on both sides should be a blast.

if the raptors can get there i think they have the best shot... they match up well and kawhi is good enough to swing a series vs any team
