i don't see how either team guards harden really

one reason why i like the esat teams this year is that i think the big 4 are pretty deep in the backcourt/wing... they all will have a lot of bodies to throw at the warriors guys and harden. you can't really say that for the blazers or nuggets

embiid and especially giannis cld cause big problems for both the rox/dubs too

they are both pretty much problems in general (at least when embiid is playing well he is)

big piece on The Ringer about Embiid made me realize he's 25, which isn't a shock when you really think about all the time he missed but if you'd just made me guess off the top of my head I would have probably put him at 23. what's really wild is that Giannis is younger than Joel.

i feel like i post a reminder that embiid is older than you think like once a month on here

nuggs have done an admirable job of shutting down dame for large sections of every game and stotts hasn't really planned around that super well imo

Nuggets-Blazers Game 4 was a classic "must win" for both teams. Blazers really needed to find a way to win that one...now they're in big trouble.

Although overall, k3vin otm: Denver is just a better team, and not by a tiny margin.

What’s going on is that the Nuggets fall apart without Jokic but that’s not really on Plumlee and he’s been great alongside Nikola. Long-term that’s still their biggest thing to solve: how to keep the offense functional without Jokic.

think i mentioned upthread that i watched all the blazers scores from one game and plumlee was notably successfully targeted on a number of plays

its true, i mean its just one game and one type of play but he didnt look great in that context

wait actually it was the spurs series aldridge had a big game and i was checking to see if jokic was getting lit up but actually he was fine and plumdawg was the victim

Jokic strangely and impressive locked Aldridge down a lot

I could see Aldridge being a bad matchup for Plumlee since he’s mostly a rim protector
