Looks like Westbrook is completely cooked now

i'm shocked there ended up being someone in the NBA more cooked than john wall and the wizards traded for him

classic wizards gotta love it

it was his first game back from his quad injury, he played on restricted minutes, but its not like he couldnt move. he just couldnt do Russ Things and his bag is empty after that.

yeah thats the thing his game relies on running around like a maniac, which is not a behavior that ages well

I’m sure he’ll look a bit better once his hgh cycle kicks in but his days as an impact player are prob over

i'm not sure the blazers spending two #1s on a guy who *totally sucks* was a bright idea

roco just.... should not even be on the court most of the time. he's shooting 34%! he can't hold onto the ball! he seemingly has no idea what the offense is doing ever! relatively unengaged on defense too, it's really awful. his eFG is 42%! that's very very bad!

he'll never be more than a role player but at 30 surely hes not cooked

I remember when the Cavs picked Sexton and I was like “this is the guy they always draft” but this time it worked!

That turned out to be a pretty amazing draft. 10 of the 14 lottery picks have been very impressive and you can’t really question the team’s decisions on them.

i mean..... maybe. he's putting together a fun season but i would suggest not looking up any advanced numbers on sexton if you want to believe he's been particularly valuable overall as a player

i mean..... maybe. he's putting together a fun season but i would suggest not looking up any advanced numbers on sexton if you want to believe he's been particularly valuable overall as a player

cmon hes a third year player who just scored 20 straight points down the stretch of a tight game, he might not be efficient or consistent yet but those are things you can work on, 90% of nba players couldnt score 20 straight regardless how much they worked, i mean theres no guarantee he pans out but he has obvious talent

sexton has been fun! he's not going to be a bust. he obv has moments of crazy, very high level shotmaking. but if he's the best player on your team for an era of like 5 years i'm just not sure if you're ever making the playoffs or winning anything if you get there

who knows! he might be good enough to be best player on playoff team, its in play

btw his was the pick the celtics gave up in the kyrie trade lol

which was a very reasonable decision but did not turn out great

I've only seen him play a few times this year and I am baffled he's good based on the way he plays but his advanced numbers are actually solid? TS 62%, PER 21.5, RAPTOR is +1.6. not bad for a 22 year old who

well per 538's WAR number he's been equally as valuable as damion lee, cameron payne, thaddeus young, talon horton tucker and josh hart, which is sorta my point

he's a fun player, not a bust, it was amazing when he stunted all over the nets, i just think the player archetype is a tough one once you get beyond crazy upset wins and random insane scoring busts, which *is* fun so i guess it just depends on where you're coming from in the discussion

if you sort the 538 numbers by offense he rates as a top 35 overall player (sandwiched in between jamychal green and enes kanter go figure) & his defense isn't even a huge drag on his numbers (538 has him as an equally below average defender as malcom brogdon, devin booker & brandon ingram). he just has to take the offensive game to a level even beyond this

The Suns passed on Luka because they had Booker. Was that the best decision? Probably not. But Ayton looks scary good this year and I can’t really argue with the decision anymore.

ayton looks good the last few games. he was his not so good lazy self before that.
