New statement from the NBA in response to @tim_cato report:

“With NBA teams now in the process of welcoming fans back into their arenas, all teams will play the national anthem in keeping with longstanding league policy.” https://t.co/jb8lTDz97V

I think we should replace it with the Tom Cochrane smash hit “Life Is A Highway”

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 10 February 2021 21:49 (three years ago) link

it is true that life is a highway

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 February 2021 22:13 (three years ago) link

I thought gallinari was supposed to be good

Heez, Thursday, 11 February 2021 01:42 (three years ago) link

Really like what I’m seeing from RH Hampton. He looks like he belongs, doesn’t make mistakes, surprisingly good rebounder.

frogbs, Thursday, 11 February 2021 03:38 (three years ago) link

Donte DiVincenzo just threw down a monster dunk in case you were wondering how things were going for the Suns

frogbs, Thursday, 11 February 2021 04:03 (three years ago) link

yeesh ok Chris Paul that's enough from you

frogbs, Thursday, 11 February 2021 05:06 (three years ago) link

hard to overstate how very dope these subs jerseys are

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 February 2021 05:19 (three years ago) link

paul’s had a great february so far. second year in a row he’s started really slow and then played great

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 February 2021 05:24 (three years ago) link

at some point the suns might wanna come up with a play for the final 4 mins of games that isn’t chris paul or devin booker taking their guy 1 on 1 while the other 4 guys stand motionless

Devin Booker's thoughts when he saw Giannis Antetokounmpo pulling up from the midrange area for the potential game-winner: "We're in good shape."

short offseason + immediate foot and ankle injuries = bad news

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 February 2021 17:16 (three years ago) link

Yeah a lost season for Gallo at best....

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 11 February 2021 20:06 (three years ago) link

Dubs with no centers vs Magic with no guards!

"not great" is the answer

i remain optimistic that if he's a hard worker his body will be able to handle it... he won't be pushed to the limit like players in different eras would have been

J0rdan S., Friday, 12 February 2021 20:32 (three years ago) link

he's basically the size of an NFL offensive tackle, and the good tackles play 10-12 years in the most brutal sport. i don't see why zion couldn't play 12-15 in the NBA. his injury history so far isn't very concerning, he might just be a freak of nature

J0rdan S., Friday, 12 February 2021 20:34 (three years ago) link

it's possible but i also think they need to look at someone like blake griffin and plan for an early peak

call all destroyer, Friday, 12 February 2021 20:35 (three years ago) link

he might just be a freak of nature

only 'might be'?

Compromise isn't a principle, it's a method (Aimless), Friday, 12 February 2021 20:36 (three years ago) link

hes good about playing under control, already seems pretty judicious/crafty in using his athleticism, compared to someone like blake who was just trying to jump over people when he came into the league, also the pelicans are clearly taking his long term health very seriously

lag∞n, Friday, 12 February 2021 20:37 (three years ago) link

i mean i wouldnt be surprised if he had a blake like career but also other things could happen, he should really figure out how to shoot tho

This is completely absurd, Jord. The way you’re thinking about all of this is insane wishful thinking
