i mean the celtics have been a well run franchise with wyc so that gives me hope the current moves will work out but still it seems pretty dicey

leaking that kidd is in consideration probably good strategy so that everyone's relieved when it's anyone else no matter how questionable

that's pretty obviously coming from kidd's agent

He’s not egregiously terrible but it never fails to amaze me that that man has a job as an analyst of NBA front office moves

Especially because, that (presumably self-aware) tweet notwithstanding, he does actually often seem to advocate for teams pushing their chips into the table on big stars and the like

feel like they do have a window over the next year or two before the extensions for their young guys really kick in to give CP an insane short term contract like 2 years $100m or something but if he's like "give me 4/160 or i'm walking" he might put them in a tough position where their young guys are in their prime w/ this huge albatross contract weighing the team down

oh no! what a dweeb

xp that actually feels pretty reasonable to me. he shaves $15 million off his salary next year to essentially accept a $30 million expiring 2 years down the road. i think the suns could do that and feel not horrible about it. that third year would be painful bcuz ayton, bridges etc would be making big money by that point but it's only a year and it's not out of the question that cp could still be useful to some degree
