symsymsym, Monday, 2 August 2021 22:56 (two years ago) link

mcbuckets had a classic contract year

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 22:57 (two years ago) link

payne deal is a steal if last season wasnt a fluke.

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 22:58 (two years ago) link

jarret allen signing is weird but he's tradable

― pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, August 2, 2021 6:56 PM (thirty-two seconds ago)

the cavs need to spend their money somehow but they traded a first and gave a huge contract to a guy who will have a marginal effect on whether they ever make the playoffs. it's just stuff bad teams do

J0rdan S., Monday, 2 August 2021 22:58 (two years ago) link

Duncan Robinson – host of the @TheLongshotPod – has agreed to a 5-year, $90M contract to stay with the Miami Heat, his agent Jason Glushon of @GlushonSM tells ESPN. The deal, largest ever for an undrafted player, also includes an ETO after the fourth year.

4/35 for TJ MCconnell to stay with pacers. another undrafted dude getting paid

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 23:04 (two years ago) link

with allen its the years that does it, they would have been fine overpaying nerlens for two but no

micah, Monday, 2 August 2021 23:04 (two years ago) link

great to have craig, hes a big wing and the pacers really needed someone like that when warren went down

randomly becoming one of the best shooters in league history is a nice way to become insanely rich

J0rdan S., Monday, 2 August 2021 23:05 (two years ago) link

doug will be good for the spurs. hes a known quantity at this point.

micah, Monday, 2 August 2021 23:06 (two years ago) link

kendrick nunn is going to be a nice pick up for some team, the guy can really score from three levels and he plays defense too

J0rdan S., Monday, 2 August 2021 23:06 (two years ago) link

that duncan robinson deal seems insane to me

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 23:08 (two years ago) link

Free agent forward/center Jeff Green has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with the Denver Nuggets, his agent Jason Glushon of @GlushonSM tells ESPN. The deal includes a player option in the second year.

duncan is the second best shooter in the league behind steph he was gonna get paid. hollinger's numbers had him valued at $24m per year

J0rdan S., Monday, 2 August 2021 23:11 (two years ago) link

Clay, Monday, 2 August 2021 23:15 (two years ago) link

Nice day for the Nuggets

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 2 August 2021 23:17 (two years ago) link

$446,695,133: Chris Paul’s career earnings if he finishes out new four-year deal, according to @spotrac.

— Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) August 2, 2021

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 23:20 (two years ago) link

duncan is younger than anderson was when he signed w/ the rockets and is a much better shooter too. i think ppl understand he's a good shooter but don't realize how good he is at shooting.

Duncan Robinson is currently shooting 40.9% on 8.5 attempts from three per game.

If he finishes over 40% on 8+ attempts, he'll be just the third player in league history with at least two seasons above those marks, joining Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

— Couper Moorhead (@CoupNBA) April 21, 2021

Fastest to 500 3's, NBA history (regular-season games):

1. Duncan Robinson, 152
2. Luka Doncic, 187
3. Damian Lillard, 199
4. Donovan Mitchell, 208
5. Klay Thompson, 214
5-tie. Buddy Hield, 214.

what a deal for a guy who hasn’t played in 2 seasons or basically ever been good in the NBA

J0rdan S., Monday, 2 August 2021 23:34 (two years ago) link

wow

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 23:34 (two years ago) link

spurs moves are not good pop has lost the plot

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 23:34 (two years ago) link

i still don’t trust that gary trent jr is good idk why

J0rdan S., Monday, 2 August 2021 23:35 (two years ago) link

duncan robinson can for sure shoot the ball no denying that. i just think thats an overpay and a too many years for a one dimensional player

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 23:37 (two years ago) link

lmao

pure rim rest (Spottie), Monday, 2 August 2021 23:43 (two years ago) link

I can see the Spurs having an interest in Zach Collins as an intriguing gamble, but not $7.3 million/year's worth of interest.

it is to laugh, like so, ha! (Aimless), Monday, 2 August 2021 23:46 (two years ago) link

Furkan Korkmaz has agreed to a three-year, $15M deal to stay with the 76ers, his agents Mike Lindeman and Jeff Schwartz of @excelbasketball tell ESPN.

Bobby Portis has chosen to be a Milwaukee sports legend and god bless him

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 2 August 2021 23:52 (two years ago) link

Nuggets made those moves without using their mid-level 🤔

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 2 August 2021 23:53 (two years ago) link

what I love about the Bobby Portis deal is that he's exactly the sort of player the 2015 Bucks would've massively overpaid for

frogbs, Monday, 2 August 2021 23:55 (two years ago) link

collins was of course a fan favorite in portland (“lunch pail” hard working white dude, so duh, but also *because* he was always hurt fans projected all sorts of weird potential onto him) so that they just let him go without a qualifying offer says a lot imo, good luck Spurs

Clay, Tuesday, 3 August 2021 00:05 (two years ago) link

Free agent Evan Fournier has agreed to a four-year deal that could be worth as much as $78M with the New York Knicks, source tells ESPN.
