duncan is younger than anderson was when he signed w/ the rockets and is a much better shooter too. i think ppl understand he's a good shooter but don't realize how good he is at shooting.
Duncan Robinson is currently shooting 40.9% on 8.5 attempts from three per game.If he finishes over 40% on 8+ attempts, he'll be just the third player in league history with at least two seasons above those marks, joining Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.— Couper Moorhead (@CoupNBA) April 21, 2021

I can see the Spurs having an interest in Zach Collins as an intriguing gamble, but not $7.3 million/year's worth of interest.

collins was of course a fan favorite in portland (“lunch pail” hard working white dude, so duh, but also *because* he was always hurt fans projected all sorts of weird potential onto him) so that they just let him go without a qualifying offer says a lot imo, good luck Spurs

mavs offense is gonna be insane in the regular season but they're gonna need to figure out how to defend teams in the playoffs and also if any of their guys will make shots when it counts. they might put up the no 1 offensive efficiency in the league tho

― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 3 August 2021 01:04 (two years ago) link
it turned out to be a bad summer to have cap space, the only important guys changing teams are lonzo and lowry. lonzo would've been an interesting fit next to luka tho in that he can play defense and shoot to some degree but can handle the ball w/o need it in his hands. would you rather have him at 4/80 or hardaway jr at 4/72? i guess they can exceed the cap w/ hardaway so idk how it all works out. they seem marginally better at best essentially making one change which is bullock over josh richardson

Sam Amick: The Lakers did a very puzzling thing today, and only time will tell if they pay a price for it in their pursuit of an 18th championship. When faced with the prospect of losing Alex Caruso, the 27-year-old guard whose Bird rights they carried and could thus pay whatever they wanted, they didn't put up any free-agency fight en route to him agreeing to a four-year, $37 million deal with Chicago. According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Caruso's camp went back to the Lakers after the Bulls made their offer and were told that there would be no counter.
