i would rather rip my own face off than keep watching this jets-pats game, that is how terribly dull this game is.

Seriously unbelievable how many breaks the Chargers have gotten in this game.

Raider's defense made a stand. Bengals were driving down to the 1, they got a sack on a safety blitz Cinci losing 16 yards and then missed a FG.

Oakland is playing pretty decent today, it isn't that the Bengals are playing "bad" per say why the game is close.

Two-sport stadiums are an eyesore.
Also, how much do they drop ticket prices at kickoff?

It is a total cesspool but I kinda like it. It feels VERY Raiders-ish.

Like, when you get off BART and take the pathway over the gross sludge waterway filled with car parts and barbed wire, you know you're going to a Raiders game.

Schwartz said X-rays showed Stafford's collarbone wasn't broken, adding more tests are needed."Matt's best play of the day might have been eluding four team doctors to get back on the field," Schwartz joked.

Nice to see Kurt Warner playing well again. Today, so far 15/19 for 200 yards and 2TDs. He's been good this year and last year, hasn't he?

Yeah, I was having unpleasant flashbacks to last week's debacle. Luckly the Jets can't capitalize like the Colts. But seriously, Pats need to get it together for 60 full minutes of play or they are done.

Just saw Donovan warming up pre-game on NBC and all the sudden he looks like a retired guy. Like, I know he's playing, but he looks like he should be with Warren Sapp and Rodney Harrison eating a big dinner somewhere.

I'm still angry.
I would like to know:
1. how Detroit was able to have an injury timeout when they had no timeouts left2. what caused the pass interference call. I mean obviously it was legit since not one but TWO refs threw the flag, but I still would like to know what caused it.
― CLEVELAND DOES NOT DESERVE MANGINI (Mr. Snrub), Monday, 23 November 2009 01:25 (fourteen years ago) link
I thought it was that the game can't end on a defensive penalty, so they allowed a play on 0:00.
(Detroit/Cleveland game, I mean).
― Daniel, Esq., Monday, 23 November 2009 01:26 (fourteen years ago) link
Washington's defense is pretty good. The problem is that they ran out of money when it came to the o-line. If they could really run the ball and they do have some decent backs, so I don't think that is the issue, it would probably make up a bit for the deficiency at QB and Campbell is maybe a slight bit better than some of the other bottom trawlers. I also think the Skins often try too much motion mumbo jumbo on their offense, which works if you have a top level QB who has been running the same gig for a while, but it won't when your QB has had his offense changed year after year and he isn't a great field genius anyway. They need to get to the KISS style of keep it simple stupid kind of offense and limit mistakes.
