Colts need to throw $$$ at Alex Mack, get a high-quality C locked in for multiple years. Offensive line has been such a massive problem, drastically affecting both the running/passing games, seems like this would be a great fix. They just signed Phil Costa 2yr/$2+m, which ideally would be for backup unless there were a good reason he lost his job in Dallas last year.

The Bears are an interesting story to me next year in that they are changing the guard quite a bit. The D-Line is going to be remade. I got a feeling they are going to turn into a high scoring no defense type of team. If Chicago has one of those clubs, that would be really weird.

yeah especially given all the teams that were in real desperate QB situations over the last couple years, he didn't even get offered a backup gig. maybe he's even worse than we all thought?

Sanchez has one major advantage over Tebow that may come in handy when playing quarterback: he can actually throw a football. Not well, mind you, but he he is capable of putting an oblong leather object in his hand and advancing it forward through the air in the (very) general direction of another member of his team.

Unfortunately for Tebow, its part of the job description for a qb.

same money over 4 yrs as GBP gave peppers over 3 but twice as much guaranteed money, for a player i think a couple years younger. seems pretty reasonable for both teams tbh.

Jared Allen is not the first All Pro defensive lineman to go from the Vikings to the Bears as the great Alan Page finished his career in Chicago. I'd say Allen's career finish in Chicago probably decides if he ends up in the Hall of Fame like Justice Page.

It's an interesting signing, hopefully a productive one for the Bears. That run defense needs some serious work. Even with the injury, I kind of hated to see Henry Melton go. That's kind of the sad thing about many of the players that have left Chicago the past couple years, they were all solid to excellent players for the Bears.
