Those shitheads are making oceans of money from this business and if public support were to wane, so would their profits. The NFL wants the entire brain injury issue to disappear from the public mind. This was just another instance of denial and suppression in an endless line of such actions by the NFL. has anyone here been to a preseason game? haven't been to a falcons game in a long time and always enjoyed it but at the same time not interested in paying a hundred bucks for nosebleed seats. can see them play the ravens very close to the field (albeit in the endzone) for the cost of a quarter pounder and i figure that scratch whatever itch i have (it is better on tv imo) plus the falcons kinda have this weird preseason rivalry w/ baltimore. is it something where after the first quarter i'm going to be wondering wtf i was thinking?

i mean if you're paying 5 bucks for it, why not

ive watched a little of the pre-season, so eager ive been for the season to start. ive been immediately reminded that in football, with its requirement of complete commitment and utter disregard for personal safety, a non-competitive game hardly resembles the real thing. if youre literally paying 5 bux then of course you should go, you can always leave early.

if the stadium was right there and it was no more than $20 i would rock up for a preseason game and leave at halftime, especially game 2 or 3. however, foxboro is a giant pain in the ass to get to and i think preseason tix start at $40 for the shitty seats.
