There are just some bad football out there. Some places are really good and the club get to follow a big bull or guy on horseback with a weapon onto the field. Some schools just got a big dopey red flag or some other cheese ball act and they just get beat over and over. Here is a thread about bad college football teams, could be seasons or really bad games or just schools that are losers.
I'll go ahead and get real and bring up my alma mater Indiana Hoosiers football team.

They to be blunt are not good, haven't been good much at all and have never been great. Oh sure there have been some quality NFL players come out of the school, most schools by number have some of those successful athletes. I think Indiana has to be close to the door mat of the Big 10. They were really bad in the old days and really have only once been to a big bowl game. UK has the same type of checkered history and these two schools used to play each other quite often but since both are at BEST .500 marginal, they play small little schools in hopes of getting six wins and a bowl birth. Kinda pathetic.

One thing I've enjoyed in the past few years is seeing the Tarheels and Blue Devils actually improve as football teams, after decades of being terrible! Basketball is, of course, still king in North Carolina, but college football is catching up to some degree.

I like how this mentions cal football attendance dropping w/ no context

What context should be in there. That they had a bad season last year?

they won 1 game and had their worst season in 128 years

This is Indiana football, one week you lose at home to a MAC school in Bowling Green and then the next week you go on the road and beat a ranked SEC team (albeit faux one in Missouri, but still).

Missouri is a pretty damn good team. Legitimate win by the Hoosiers.
