johnny crunch, Saturday, 5 September 2015 02:10 (eight years ago) link

osu has a good team and a lot of easy games is my understanding

johnny crunch, Saturday, 5 September 2015 02:21 (eight years ago) link

I don't know diddly shit about how Alabama looks this year. Guess I'll find out Saturday night against Wisconsin.

Johnny Fever, Saturday, 5 September 2015 03:08 (eight years ago) link

my playoffs pick:

ohio state
auburn
baylor
ucla

J0rdan S., Saturday, 5 September 2015 21:39 (eight years ago) link

(which was my opinion before today's games :D)

J0rdan S., Saturday, 5 September 2015 21:56 (eight years ago) link

WTH is up with ESPN spending significant amounts of time on both Gameday and Final talking about spreads and covering the over/under on individual games now? STFU with all that gambler bullshit.

Also, Final is even more terrible than I imagined it would be with Davis, May and Holtz gone.

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 6 September 2015 05:22 (eight years ago) link

I think if USC doesn't make it into the playoff four sark will literally be sacrificed on a satanic altar by that school's boosters bc they are not used to this type of (relative/by their standards) irrelevance

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 6 September 2015 13:17 (eight years ago) link

also he really needs to do more booze-and-pills-fueled speeches that shit was classic

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 6 September 2015 13:18 (eight years ago) link

The talent on this Buckeyes team is unreal.

Mr. Snrub, Tuesday, 8 September 2015 00:52 (eight years ago) link

o rly

johnny crunch, Tuesday, 8 September 2015 01:32 (eight years ago) link

Then the talent on Virginia Tech's team must be quite real.

Aimless, Tuesday, 8 September 2015 02:56 (eight years ago) link

the braxton miller wr era is gonna be so tight, damn

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 September 2015 02:56 (eight years ago) link

Oops wrong thread.

Mr. Snrub, Thursday, 10 September 2015 21:17 (eight years ago) link

lose two starters before the year. lose RB1 week 1. lose QB1 week 2. yeesh.

pdf booklet in the cheesecaked factory (Sufjan Grafton), Saturday, 12 September 2015 23:20 (eight years ago) link

That sucks. As you know, I'm sometimes antagonistic towards ND, but I was really looking forward to watching Malik Zaire play this year. ;_;

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 13 September 2015 00:40 (eight years ago) link

Man, Mississippi State almost pulled that shit off.

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 13 September 2015 05:04 (eight years ago) link

Auburn is garbage.

Johnny Fever, Saturday, 19 September 2015 21:10 (eight years ago) link

another game. another likely season ending injury to a starter.

Sufjan Grafton, Saturday, 19 September 2015 21:34 (eight years ago) link

holy shit that ole miss td

johnny crunch, Sunday, 20 September 2015 03:28 (eight years ago) link

like 8 insane things happen on that play

johnny crunch, Sunday, 20 September 2015 03:29 (eight years ago) link

the texas missed extra point was one of the saddest things i've ever seen, i've never heard announcers talk like that

J0rdan S., Sunday, 20 September 2015 03:47 (eight years ago) link

bama down 20 @ home lol

johnny crunch, Sunday, 20 September 2015 04:43 (eight years ago) link

man this feels like the worst bama team in a while. aside from henry the offense has no playmakers and outside of the line the defense seems very average.

J0rdan S., Sunday, 20 September 2015 04:49 (eight years ago) link

this 2nd half has been bonkers

johnny crunch, Sunday, 20 September 2015 05:05 (eight years ago) link

the bama cb thing is crazy

J0rdan S., Sunday, 20 September 2015 05:07 (eight years ago) link

coker got drillled lol @ ole miss fan w/ cut throat motion pls gif

johnny crunch, Sunday, 20 September 2015 05:14 (eight years ago) link

such a weird mix of very good plays and utter disasters from coker tonight

J0rdan S., Sunday, 20 September 2015 05:15 (eight years ago) link

his receivers letting him down now

Sufjan Grafton, Sunday, 20 September 2015 05:26 (eight years ago) link

Bama offense has no leadership anywhere. And the QB corps is the weakest since before Brodie Croyle 13 years ago. Ole Miss is for real, and Bama deserved this loss.

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 20 September 2015 05:30 (eight years ago) link

I thought one of the selling points of Lane Kiffin was that he's a hell of a recruiter. I've seen no evidence of that with these freshmen and sophomores.

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 20 September 2015 05:35 (eight years ago) link

i dunno, robert foster and calvin ridley were both like upper 5 star recruits, cam sims & daylon charlot were high 4 star guys. i don't think it's a talent problem they just don't have any experience. they leaned so insanely heavily on amari last season that the passing offense looks lost without him. i'm sure by the end of the season it will look better but it's not a shock that w/ the qb situation the way it is the passing offense would look kinda wack w/ all this inexperience.

J0rdan S., Sunday, 20 September 2015 15:05 (eight years ago) link

foster somehow tore his rotator cuff

J0rdan S., Sunday, 20 September 2015 19:09 (eight years ago) link

Bret Bielema fires back at Kliff Kingsbury

oh shit jimmy bob and bobby jim are fixin to slapfight

mookieproof, Tuesday, 22 September 2015 03:34 (eight years ago) link

lol @ texas

johnny crunch, Saturday, 26 September 2015 23:11 (eight years ago) link

both butch jones and jim mcelwain should have to resign after the coaching at the end of that game

J0rdan S., Saturday, 26 September 2015 23:33 (eight years ago) link

I've pointed out my alma mater Indiana's ineffectiveness in football before, but I figure I should post for now while they are undefeated at 4-0. They haven't really beat any really good teams, but none of them are total cupcakes and hey when you are IU and it is football, you got to take your wins when you get them. Now they are setup to get blown out by OSU 49-13 at home next week. That said, I will point out when I went to IU they were actually kinda decent in football with Bill Mallory as the coach and had players like "AT" Anthony Thompson and later a QB named Trent Green. That is sadly kinda the salad years of IU football. But hey as the T-shirts say "IU FOOTBALL: NEVER LOST A PARTY".

earlnash, Sunday, 27 September 2015 06:44 (eight years ago) link

My current 'local' college team is doing pretty good too with UK getting a win going to 3-1 and now having 2 wins in the SEC over South Carolina and Missouri. They got some decent talent, especially at linebackers and DBs. QB isn't bad too but their receivers have stone hands.

earlnash, Sunday, 27 September 2015 06:47 (eight years ago) link

After being thrashed by Utah, it looks like Oregon has fallen off the mountaintop this season and they'll be pretty ordinary.

Aimless, Sunday, 27 September 2015 18:29 (eight years ago) link

oregons pass dfense is a nightmare and with how awful their qb play was vs utah, they just got dominated by the utah dline in that game; there was also some extremely odd plays, like utah pulled off the misdirection punt return that st louis (?) did in the nfl last season

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 30 September 2015 01:07 (eight years ago) link

that said, oregon being only slightly over a td fav @ colorado this week seems like literally free money

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 30 September 2015 01:08 (eight years ago) link

No, I think Colorado's gonna cover 7.5.

Mr. Snrub, Saturday, 3 October 2015 01:16 (eight years ago) link

wow it even moved to -6.5

johnny crunch, Saturday, 3 October 2015 21:01 (eight years ago) link

came here to lol @ uga tho

johnny crunch, Saturday, 3 October 2015 21:01 (eight years ago) link

this game is unbelievable

johnny crunch, Friday, 1 January 2016 23:19 (eight years ago) link

Stanford, frozen out of the playoffs, are making their case to have been included I think.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Friday, 1 January 2016 23:21 (eight years ago) link

yes, definitely

stanford and ohio state probably better than oklahoma and michigan state

http://i68.tinypic.com/e707c2.png

johnny crunch, Friday, 1 January 2016 23:24 (eight years ago) link

they need to interview the trailing coach in these blowouts going into the half instead of the leading 1

johnny crunch, Saturday, 2 January 2016 03:22 (eight years ago) link

Oklahoma State never seemed much interested in this game, while Ole Miss was fired up from the first. The results speak for themselves.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Saturday, 2 January 2016 03:41 (eight years ago) link

all of these games are bad

I'll be watching Oregon v TCU tomorrow, bbut with Boykin out, one wonders whether TCU will fold or fight.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Saturday, 2 January 2016 03:54 (eight years ago) link

I got my answer.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Sunday, 3 January 2016 01:36 (eight years ago) link

They woke up (a little).

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Sunday, 3 January 2016 02:40 (eight years ago) link

I go make supper and eat it with my wife (during which time I have no inkling what's going on). Come back in time to see the 2OT and 3OT. I guess TCU decided they could play this game after all. Eh! So it goes.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Sunday, 3 January 2016 04:04 (eight years ago) link

the drop off from adams to lockie was about as steep as imaginable

J0rdan S., Sunday, 3 January 2016 04:11 (eight years ago) link

I always try to remember that the players are pretty damn young and 97% of them will never play beyond college ball.

Poor Jeff Lockie was a senior. After all that work, all that time spent on the practice squad, in the weight room, learning the playbook, getting bashed around. Now this is how he'll be remembered, as the fuckup quarterback who blew the big lead in the bowl game. Shouldn't happen to a dog, let alone a young kid who put his whole heart into it.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Sunday, 3 January 2016 04:26 (eight years ago) link

joe tessitore on saban just now: "interesting to see nick take the field, hes a man of rituals right likes to watch the weather channel, likes to eat his cookies, likes to have his lettuce with a little bit of tuna or some turkey, and likes to walk a hundred yards before he sizes up a victory"

johnny crunch, Monday, 11 January 2016 23:38 (eight years ago) link

that was a great throw to renfroe

johnny crunch, Tuesday, 12 January 2016 02:02 (eight years ago) link

"Genius of all geniuses, Nick Saban"

johnny crunch, Tuesday, 12 January 2016 04:28 (eight years ago) link

saban truly showing his lizard blood w that onsides

johnny crunch, Tuesday, 12 January 2016 04:42 (eight years ago) link

See how it plays out, the pace reminds me a bit of the Texas/USC classic.

earlnash, Tuesday, 12 January 2016 04:45 (eight years ago) link

that was the most perfect onside possible

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 12 January 2016 04:45 (eight years ago) link

im scared of clemson giving up one more 50 yard run

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 12 January 2016 04:45 (eight years ago) link

johnny crunch, Tuesday, 12 January 2016 04:57 (eight years ago) link

Deshaun needed a Dion Lewis move there
