it might be interesting to have a page on the site that just loaded up "site new answers" from $date minus five years but that isn't really too hard to do manually

If you use GreaseMonkey or GreaseKit or whatever, here's a little script I wrote that will hide boards you don't read in Site New Answers. Just replace the numbers in var boards = [ "1", "2", "3", "4" ] with the numbers of the boards (boardid in the URL bar) you want to hide. I've been using this for awhile on Safari and it's pretty stable there but I haven't tested on Firefox. If it doesn't work right there I'll fix it.
