East End
Full of eastern suburbs public school boys, all insufferable twats that still live with their parents (probably). Overrated pubs (except for The Elephant, which has good beer despite being a faux-British pub). Too many older ladies in white slacks. Does have TWO Palace Nova cinemas and is awesome during Fringe time.
West End
Might get robbed or go into a strip club but probably not. Surprisingly dead during Fringe time. Seems to be getting worse but that's because I'm no longer a student. Marcellina's still has the best pizza ever. Supermild still has the funniest indie kids. Just avoid HQ.

North Adelaide
Probably the most tolerable place to hang out these days. Still have insufferable twats living here not allowing anything to be built on the LeCornu's site - but the pubs and restaurants are still ace. And I could walk home from here at my old place.

Like the East End but surprisingly, not as bad. Maybe because Don Dunstan was MP for about 100 years. Fantastic Italian places.

On one hand it is the biggest sports bar in the CBD, but on the other hand it'll be full of annoying bogans. But it will have the biggest screen and the bogan culture could be incredibly fascinating to your eyes.

You could say that Hindley Street was a major influence on the Esteban Buttez character (I was at the UniSA campus/drinking at the Worldsend/playing Theatresports at Jive around the time), if that helps you understand it further.
