nah i just asked because we listened to "nevermind", "bleach", "in utero", "broken" and "pretty hate machine" all in a row (in that order) this weekend while on a road trip

i was just shocked how current NIN sounds (especially "broken", the production on that album still sounds incredible) and how clunky nirvana sounded ... the only thing i still found likeable about nirvana were the vocals ...

Dave Grohl was/is at least a very-fun-to-watch-play drummer. I'm not sure you'd want someone dancier or whatever for Nirvana.
