processing, that should be. I had a projector, but it broke, and it costs a fortune to transfer to DV.

Transfer != processing. Yeah, processing can be a bitch. However, you should be able to find a projector on the cheap. And doing a "telecine" by videotaping off the projection screen = classic underground style. Cool flicker. I'm dead serious, too.
