who is you person that gets haughty about people not knowing by heart the faces of two cast members who've only been on the show for 7 episodes!?

i guess i should go outside and play in the wilderness, though, that would definitely help me memorize the faces of television personalities, for sure.

gotta admit that reba digital short had me rolling. saw the JGL monologue clip, gotta give it to him for sheer effort

what really put that over the top for me was that Kenan's Reba impression was kinda spot-on. i didn't even see the 'twist' coming since the Lonely Island album has E-40 playing Carlos Santana on a track, I thought it was just gonna be like that.

JGL's voice sounded weird all night to me, it occurred to me that the only grown up roles I've seen him in (Brick and The Lookout) was doing these mannered monotone voices and even when he wasn't doing some character on SNL I was like wait is that what he actually sounds like or what?

i also just learned looking at that thread that Fred Armisen is apparently 42 years old, wow

he sorta dresses like a middle aged dude in sketches where he plays himself or someone like himself, but yeah i had him at around 35. damn

What's crazy is that he didn't get into comedy at all until he was in his mid-30s. Just played drums before that.

yeah comedy seems like a calling that doesn't reach everybody early in life, i'm just saying i've never looked at armisen and thought "that dude is over 40"

finally watched the JGL episode, and dude sang in EVERY sketch he appeared in before Weekend Update (monologue, password, jack johnson show, t-giving dinner, what's up with that?). was he just singing at the offices all week and they decided to use it?

What happened in the JGL monologue? Hulu cut it out.

I assume he sang some copyrighted song?

He sang "Make 'Em Laugh," from Singin' in the Rain. But yeah, I think NBC strips out for Hulu any musical performance for which they'd have to pay additional royalties.

i largely agree with you

i dunno i kinda thought 1973 colonel sanders NASA job applicant potato chip regurgitator thief collecting his hemorrhoid donut on the way out the door skit was pretty fantastic and unless i'm overlooking something pretty obvious maybe even the best job interview oriented SNL skit since the chris parnell/christopher walken "we don't hire dirty centaurs" classic

i wonder if jenny slate will ever get through a sketch without stuttering

I keep watching it because I LOL everytime Rihanna says "The tree of knowlegde it grows cause we plant the seed" and kid looks up and nods in slow-motion
